If you do badly in your first spawn you’re not gonna get much rewards anyways. Might as well not waste time
Then profiting for progression and map playability would come for the debate lol
This is incorrect. Sometimes I’ll get nuked right at game start and then I’ll bring my next vehicle and do great. What makes you think that you can’t get ‘much rewards’ with your second or third spawn if your first spawn doesn’t go well? The only times it can really go badly is if your team has one death left already after they got nuked - which is what we’re discussing here. As long as there is a team there holding the front, it’s up to you to do well with your second and third spawns (and subsequent spawns).
Or if you got nuked because your team just wasn’t interested in supporting one another or even trying to play the mode.
Many a time I have tried to cap with no support, and when outnumbered I eventually fall. Then I’ll watch the screen and take stock of what my team is doing. I can tell when they just have no interest in winning the battle - only in it for themselves to get some kills.
That’s when I bail. Why should I waste my time and SLs on a team that … just doesn’t care.
Some of my very best matches have started with me dying with zero or one kill in my first spawn. What you’re saying is simply not true.
Sure, sometimes you try again and you just get punched in the face a second time, that’s the game.
Sometimes you try again and finish the match on 13 kills and even reclaim one cap, then the team loses anyway.
Sometimes though, you try again and help your team win, which is a great feeling.
Sadly the update was recently or I would link you an older server replay. It’s a match I played with @TheDudesRug a while back. Poland, Battle mission, we were on the western spawn.
Since most of the team went (correctly) into the town, and I was rather uptiered, I decided I would spawn the German M41 and go up north. I know from experience that sometimes a group of enemy flankers will try to get that corner of the map and turn our team’s flank. If we don’t react they might even be capping B while our folks are still slogging through the town to get to A.
Well, it was a disaster.
I got there in the M41, went hull down and started spotting - bad luck, a bunch of people from the enemy team had chosen that route and were pushing from the north forest. There was an IS-3, a T32… I don’t even remember if I got a kill or zero, but I died and they started capping our point while the rest of the team was in the town.
This led to another problem.
As you know, that particular format of Battle on Poland has only one spawn per team. Our spawn is in the south west. If the enemy is at B, that means they can fire down on our spawn while staying hull down.
I spawned in a Tiger II and only then realised we were being spawn camped. I got one kill, and died to the T32.
This is the sort of situation where maybe you would be tempted to quit early. I spawned again, in a Jagdtiger this time, reasoning that if I had to deal with entrenched enemies hull down, I wanted big boy armour and a big boy gun.
Well, at this point some of our guys in the town reacted. Between them and us firing from two directions, we cleared them all from B.
I drove that fat ass JT all the way up the hill, I went north again (since it was exposed again) and I started killing their respawning guys and advancing a little further each time. I ended the match in their spawn, with the team capping A.
Dudesrug and I finished that match first and second. I don’t remember if I finished with 7 or 8 kills, but that’s really irrelevant to the point. I have a fond memory of that match, and I wouldn’t have it if I’d quit. Maybe the team would have won anyway, maybe not, but we all kept trying until we got it right.
Most players simply don’t care though.
Look at Air RB. 12/16 players are in F4S bombing 4 bases, meaning that one to fours guy actually gets some RP and the others just carried 4 tons of useless shit around. If youu then tell them that they can use their fighter to, well, fight and win, they just tell you that Bases are more efficient.
Competely ignoring the fact that winning the game gets you way more RP. People forgoing R24s on 23MLs for 2 500kg bombs. The list is endless.
Big part of the community doesn’t care about improving. Gaijin helps them. Bombtards in top tier premiums are too stupid to take off? Everyone gets an airspawn.
Bombtards dive 90° down in cloudy weather and hit the dirt? Airspawn removed again.
Yes - but everyone able to download the game has the freedom to do his own research of how the game works - same with ACM.
As a pure WW2 (prop) player i can’t get my head around why basically the whole player base sees the purpose of this game as grinding aircraft they can’t handle.
At least at prop BRs you can often overcome rather unfavorable situations with a healthy mix of luck, brain power and experience.
Example:
In my last match (i love challenges - replay link) i played the Rank III 410 A-1 at BR 3.3 in Air RB - and was blessed with the usual German team mates attacking the wrong targets at the wrong point in time with the wrong tactics. And I won the match mainly due to sheer luck. I ran into 2 way superior aircraft (the US premium Ki-43 and a P-51C-10) which fly circles around my 410.
Both killed a 190 A-1 who had attacked a useless (regarding the outcome) French bomber and saw me incoming - and both (they were not noobs) crashed into each other whilst climbing to me because they were too greedy.
The P-51 lost his prop and the Ki-43 a wingtip - ending in 2 free kills for me - and i managed to kill 3 of the 3 remaining bombers (one fighter crashed on top) with the right tactics and attacking them in the right order - based on threat levels.
So winning with an ace in a 410 after 23 minutes - after playing 1 vs 6 - is clear evidence for my claim that Air RB with the single spawn setup has massive advantages vs a multi-spawn setup if you invested some time in learning basic things like target prioritization and positioning.
100% correct👍
Ok I’ll stop one death leaving
We don’t need “punishments”.
You are “One Death Leave” player anyway.
Only occasionally, though you saying this shows you are just here to cry rather than post real suggestions or try to improve the game.
I suggest in my previous topic before it was closed and you suggest nothing either.
I’m not required to post fixes to everything on the forum.
I only left the game once early when i had a medical emergency
Regardless of the situations,i try to do as much as possibile to gain as much possible RP/SL and improve stats overall if so
If i dont grind i still play all the tanks
If i grind,i play everything in my lineup to gain as much as i can
I still do not understand the 1 death leavers, yall just want easy wins
How many of the 197 posts did you read?
I ask because there are a lot of posts that describe problems that are not associated with “easy wins”.
The problem is incentives and design for ARB
Planes start with no chaff, few A2A weapons, no G-Suit. You’re at a disadvantage in same tier A2A fights until you get some decent mods. It gets worse when you factor in the snowball effect.
Bombing a base is simple, you drop bombs, you get paid.
Attacking ground troops is not efficient either so why waste time and loadout on that.
Path of least grind resistance = bombing
Path of greatest grind resistance = Gamble on getting 1+ kill A2A
That’s fine. That’s you. I have played the game longer than you and at a higher level than you. I simply do not care for poor matchmaking, poor maps, or poor teams any longer. If any of these circumstances come up, I do not stay. That is my choice and it’s backed by logic and common sense. Despite this, I still do not leave that often. I’m not going to stay in a game for your sake though.
I believe the path of resistance is farming those who are there to bomb. Easy kills.
They are easy kills and once you kill them they get to queue for a new match.
Win for both you and the bomber
If you dont care about easy wins why leave then?Play the game no???
Whats so hard to understand my point
