Is it possible to revert "Target destroyed"\"Critical hit" text back towards the middle?

I stopped playing early 2025 and when I came back I found out the hard way, when my pilot blacked out and crashed, that the “Hit” text location was changed from the middle to the top of the screen. Is there a way to revert it back with a setting I can’t find or a community mod?

I hate the new location because I have to constantly move my eyes to the top and back every time I want to check how many Gs my pilot is pulling during a turn, if my flaps are about to explode during a faster landing approach or during a dogfight and even when just trying to confirm if I have done just a hit, a critical hit or severe damage to an enemy bomber for example.

Even for ground it’s annoying as hell, it blocks out huge amounts of the screen if you’re trying to peek over a ridge.

Just give us the option to stick it to the bottom or something above the map or whatever.
