I remember playing the F2H-2 and well i hated it It was so different from anything ive played even in jets (take that with some salt bc I Use the A-4E as a Fighter) Its slow and sluggish in turning I though maybe id give it a chance bc well its a higher br it has to be better some how and I feel dumb for thinking that its not that i suck with 20mms I love them ive been playing a lot of the Hungarian Yak-9P it made me start wanting to play air again and i have wonderful aim maybe its just bc its US 20mm ive always hated them so much well the low ter ones i realyl like the Colt Mod 0 on the A-4E just ammo is low but i feel like im starting to get good with 20mms and things of that sort i would do good, anyways its prob just me that hates it cya (also Happy thanksgiving tomorrow ;3)
I have both the F2H-2 and the F9F-2, I much prefer the F2H, much better in turn time and the weaponry is similar, there isn’t much reason for the panther to be at 8.0
when I was making this post i seen a few topics about the Panther has no reason to be 8.0
Gaijin killed the F2H-2 when they locked their flaps at speed… but I digress.
Early naval jets are not particularly good still.
Ig as much as i want to try to get good with it im just going to grind AI targets…
None of the panther are worth using except the F9F-8, the other one are just free food for migs and sabre.
I don’t recall the F9F being that weak… Did the environment change in just half a year?
The F9F-2 and -5 were both massively overstated by Youtubers, and called OP when they got buffed just like the F8F-1.
My advice, skip the Panthers and Couger unless you want em for CAS in GRB. If you do want em, skip the F-2 and go for the F-5 instead cause It’s pretty much objectively better.
I used to keep breaking my flaps accidentally cause I forgot its low flap break speed, and then I realized that an F9F-2/5 with broken flaps when viewed from below kinda looks like a malnourished catgirl with ribs showing.
I think the F2H is pretty good.
The F9F-2 is pointless as the F9F-5 is the same BR and noticeably better.
Everything around the 8.0 BR is overshadowed by Migs and Sabres now.
The compression in low level jets is insane, Gaijin really need to do something about it.
Just another jet thats been forgotten and is no longer player enough to get rebalanced like the R2Y2. air basically goes: props> Sabers/ mig 15s> Mig 21s/phantoms> Mig23/ hornets> Raf
