It was 49%/51%.
Kind of our fault for agreeing to such a bad deal in the first place, but hey, that’s what that administration at the time was known for.

Yeah, we have now paid for 2 fleets of subs and gotten zero hulls for it, one day the Gov will figure out we need to rebuild our own defense industrial base rather then outsourcing it.
APHE is the most beginner friendly shell. The British tree could use some buffs to reload or armor if their mobility is going to be this awful. They have some good tanks but when it competes against other nations at its BR it’s 100% outclassed.
They could also improve APDS rounds but I think reload speed would help it a lot more. Don’t get me started on turret traverse
APHE is a very noob friendly and game convention abuse friendly shells yea. I dont think many british tanks overly need compensation buffs for the mobility, for the most part they are perfectly fine, just a matter of giving them fairer BRs compared to the handholding that germany gets (player stats vs vehicle capacity will forever be an uphill battle)
easily done
either remove shell shatter from APDS and APHC/APCR/HVAP or add it to other shells prone to it (APHE)
Yeah they’re pretty bloody dire. Honestly low tier is really fun and the mid WW2 BR’s are pretty great and just got buffed with the addition of APHE.
By the time you get to 4.7 they really start to fall off and anything after is rather painful. I ragequit grinding with 6.7 GB as it’s just a dreadful, miserable experience. Instead I simply powered through using the FV4202, which can be serviceable due to it’s full stab but the ammo, armour and mobility all suck.
I’m trying (and not succeeding) to get a 8.0 lineup researched so I can continue but it’s hard work without a premium tank.
Even if there is any vote against RU equipment then, they would go submarine mode and keep making RU OP :D
Uh duh, the vast majority players are from RU tech tree :D
M1 V3 without M829A3
challenger 3TD with trolly armor and non-existent gun handling/mobility.
Yikes
How I would fix Britain:
Basically, stop obliterating seemingly every single weapon system Britain happens to use. Yes, Russia, they repeatedly stonewalled you in centuries past in the Black Sea, Mediterranean Sea, Baltic Sea, North Sea, and elsewhere. Get over your own history already and stop punishing their tech tree in a video game set long after those events.
Not the worst, but far from the best. Also depends on which BR.

I’m not sure I’ve ever once read a better comment on these forums

Israel is arguably worse as a whole tree.
Most boring =! Worst Tree
Yet it could be an interesting tree but gaijin doesn’t care.
You could make the argument that Israel is both the most boring and worst tree.
Crippling AA gaps, very little variety, only 4 functional light tanks in the whole tree (the Bardales and 2 namers aren’t getting counted as light tanks) etc.
Ignoring anything about balance, it shouldn’t come to all 6-pdr guns because it’s a late war round that only showed up around early-mid '44, and even then, initially didn’t even have filler. It would be out of place on a lot of vehicles meant to represent their configurations during the North Africa Campaign.
Since we’re assuming KE damage is being buffed anyways, M86 wouldn’t be strictly necessary to give the 6-pdr its deserved potency, and there’d be no need for being loose with shell chronology.
An easy rule of thumb would be to limit it to vehicles with the 6-pdr Mk.V, since they started swapping out shorter 6-pdr Mk.IIIs for Mk.V guns well before M86’s introduction.
… and for completeness sake, Shot Mk.1 T APCR too. It could be a sub-caliber round option for vehicles that predate the APDS introduction by a bit.

Everything else I can agree with at face value.
I agree it needs more but it’s still pretty effective at all BRs for the most part. The fact British tree falls off completely after rank 3 is the problem. No matter what tank they all suck except for the few gems. Israel at least gets some really good tanks all the way through.
UK mains literally report their own stuff if it was wrong, EF2000 BOL nerfed because of report from UK main → Gaijin did it with no doubt and done it very quick
Report to fix CR2 → Hell nawh, not this time :D
Yet we have TD trucks with this round in the lowest ranks of the game on the 2.3 SU-57 and 3.0 T18E2. As far as I’m concerned, if its capable of firing it, let it go ahead. After all, the IS-2 1944 has its time-traveling BR-471D round from the 1950s (unless that got removed when the thing dropped in BR like happened once prior), and there are plenty of other tanks with questionable rounds. Giving the British 57mm similar postpen potency to the German 50mm and Russian 57mm would not break anything.
Even then, I still am vastly in favor of improving the capabilities of all types of 6-pounders. The two versions shoot the same projectiles on different-sized cartridges, thus “if it fits, it sits.”
It seems like the APCR was only for the shorter-barreled gun while APDS was only for the long-barreled gun. In WT’s own datamines APDS only exists for the longer-barreled version of the 6-pdr.
