Is gaijin planning on fixing this?

Is gaijin planning to fix being able to shoot through hills and floors or are they like the Russian version of EA and just don’t care?

It’s physically impossible to do what you say. If it appears that you are being shot through hills, most vehicles can do this by adjusting Sight distance control and manually raising the reticle to adjust for range. The velocity and drop of the shell means it can curve over the hill and hit you. The shot can be very easily adjusted with binoculars after some practice.

Which hills?

Which floors?

I haven’t had this problem

You cannot shoot through hills, they are not a Russian company at this time, and using EA [the first major corporation to offer digital refunds to customers. As well as abandoning their proprietary app for future game releases in 2023] doesn’t work as an insult anymore.

There are parts of some maps where the visual part of the terrain is higher than the physical part of the terrain, so while peeking a hill you can in some spots aim with the commander sight and when you switch to gunner sights it looks like you are aiming 10-20cm below the crest of the hill but when you fire the shot goes through like there was nothing in the way.

The snow makes sense though, i personally don’t have an issue with that, its worse when its dirt or sand.

Indeed.

What I am finding though is less people caught up on the killcam showing them being shot through things as before.

Adding to sakura’s post,

On certain maps - mostly snowy ones, there is a layer of thick and soft snow over the hard dirt. You can, for reasons self evident, can shoot through the snow without it impacting your round.

You gotta use binos to see over it.

If a round went trough a hill or a floor then it is called a BUG and you should report it…

It is also the best way to help devs fix it…as they don’t dwell in forum…
