Seeing how some prop planes sometimes reach Mach 10 while spinning out of control, this might be a way to prevent weird desync or glitches to make the missile perform horrible wrong.

Soooo apparently the Pantsir is also getting buffed along with the new SAMs?!

Slight increase in thrust, reduction in drag, and improvement to maneuverability.

Obviously the Pantsir was too weak, it needs buffs to keep up /s

Wasn’t it already overperforming the range department? I mean, yes it’s faster and smaller but due to it being light the drag and speed bleed would be much higher. Higher than it currently is, especially at high speeds.

Range is better now but still not correct. Loft Profile and Radar need some work. The Radar hud is nice but cant see whats friendly in the target list. Firing in the Radar hud doesnt seem to work for me.

lemme guess you try to fire with LMB?

you have to change it, then the firing works

Also intercepting munitions doesnt always work, sometimes the slm just goes off to the side completely missing it.

You can press the place where it shows all the options below the center radar square. So the “fire main caliber weapon” is actually a button and not only a tool tip.

Those additional ~70Ns look like a game changer to me.

does anyone have access to the SLM? i wanna see how good (or bad) it does with it’s new buffs against the Su-30SM

i mean thats 400m more range

i would like to thank to all gentleman and ladies(i doubt)that worked hard on this forum to get our spaa system presented right in the a vritual game, it is all of you who accomplised in youtube in reddit in here raising your voices and sources,againts to one sources that break down everything. it is you who fought your way to win.
I am only wishing for more forums like this to bring out realism to this game

so now time for phase two getting it to actual specs completly and get dircm report passed

After some rough testing with @Dontkev-psn and my Rafale ; I was not able to defend against the SLM within 20km, beyond 22km its too slow against maneouvering targets.

The main defense within 20km is hiding from the radar before the IR seeker picks you up. If the radar fails to pick you up even once before the IR seeker engages, the missile stops guiding towards you. Even if you get picked back up again by the radar with the missile still in flight, it won’t be redirected towards your new track even though it’s of the exact same type in exactly the right location.

I haven’t seen if chaff still affects it, though. In the previous dev chaffing was enough to get the track to detach from you.
