There is no “fix”, i like cas and want it to be balanced, but with the current very primitive game mode and map design it is impossible it make any changes less of a complete overhaul that will make the game at top tier actually fun and balanced. They keep just throwing more and more advanced techs to a game designed for ww2 vehicles and it will only get worse…

They are just incredibly annoying and it’s going to feel incredibly satisfying to be able to smite them with a missile from above.
and people buy and buy and buy the new shiny… and argumenting about reality… in reality u dont fkn drive your SPAA into the frontline, u dont charge with an 35mm AA into MBTs and u also generally dont drive with your tank in a zone where the enemy has CAS in the air… Theres a bloody reason why u try in every war to get the enemy AA… so they cant defend CAS anymore and u can easialy torch them up
way too strong for everything other than the kH38, so they added that first making cas op then they add this to make spaa op. Great game design choices Gaijin…
I was wondering more like the Kub and Buk systems. Also about bigger systems like the S-300/400, patriot, etc. They do say in the dev blog that only the radar vehicle will be on map but what about systems that have separate search and track vehicles?
Its probably time to at least remove all redzones off WT maps. These units need bigger maps and removing red zone offmap timers from existing maps would be appropriate.
This is the equivalent of saying that Billionaires should be stripped off all their money for being too rich. No one would want to be rich at that point and play CAS.
Planes need to be somewhat competitive and dangerous to be worth using. No one would willingly spawn a plane or heli if they knew they had no chance to destroy ground targets.
If anything HARMs will be good for Ground RB because it pushes fights further from the battlefield while HARMs directly target ground radars and keep tanks safe.
Btw you could just put AI PT-59 on the ground to defend from CAS. Seriously this thing has just oneshoted me in my small fighter right after I spawned playing NRB…
I think they should reverse their idea, you spawn with the launcher and you can deploy the radar because how are you supposed to react fast if you spawned your spaa mid game and there is a lot of jets in air ?
Hopefully they refine the system over time and this is just the “get it done and out” solution… but given Gaijins history I wont hold my breath.
I do think having the launch vehicles spawn at dedicated sites off the main battle field would be a good idea, you spawn the Radar and the launchers spawn at SAM sites where they can be repaired/ replaced and reloaded as long as the radar is alive. Also having them at fixed sites would give GPS bombs a purpose.
Given the number of players that disable T-series tanks then just sit there repeatedly shooting its UFP until its fully repaired, do you really think relying on player intelligence is a good idea?
