I think they should reverse their idea, you spawn with the launcher and you can deploy the radar because how are you supposed to react fast if you spawned your spaa mid game and there is a lot of jets in air ?
Hopefully they refine the system over time and this is just the “get it done and out” solution… but given Gaijins history I wont hold my breath.
I do think having the launch vehicles spawn at dedicated sites off the main battle field would be a good idea, you spawn the Radar and the launchers spawn at SAM sites where they can be repaired/ replaced and reloaded as long as the radar is alive. Also having them at fixed sites would give GPS bombs a purpose.
Given the number of players that disable T-series tanks then just sit there repeatedly shooting its UFP until its fully repaired, do you really think relying on player intelligence is a good idea?
its the RADAR that you spawn in with, and then you can put ur LAUNCHER like an ammo box

so the type 81(c) can go separately when the radar vehicle got destroyed.
does the launcher vehicle got the same ammo replenishment like the non radar coupled vehicle?
It seems as though you will be able to place two launchers, whereas you only get one tracking unit.
So it makes sense to have the player in the lone vehicle as opposed to the one there’s multiple of.
The launcher on its own can’t hit anything without the tracking unit so there’s no real advantage to spawning in that. You’re going to have to place the other thing down to be able to fire either way.
If your radar car dies, or if all your launcher car’s die, then you as a whole count as dead and go back to the respawn screen.
You can’t lose the radar car and keep playing.
It makes the missile fly in a straight line. That’s it. That’s literally it. Move slightly.

We just don’t really have the mechanics for that.
Same as how planes can’t share radar info or buddy laze for each other.
Even more of a reason to have the radar outside the map and you just control a launcher
I feel that would make it extremely easy to counter the radar, especially if they have predictable and common spawns.
Just remove dogshit maps from rotation. There’s no reason for 21st century systems to be fighting in 1940s-era Cologne.
Or make it an option if you want to play on only big maps (big sinai etc) or give us more map bans
U talk about Competivenes… per definition that already dosnt work in GRB, as Tanks cant kill Planes or Helis that shot at them from many kilometers away.
On lower BR its already not really Fair to play a Tank against a Plane, but atleast the Planes need to get close and need to make themself vulnerable to AA, MGs and Enemy Planes. On hightier thats not the case anymore, they dont need to make themself vulnerable plus they have more ordinance then on lower br.
The amount of CAS players that cant cope with the fact they arent the meta anymore at toptier is funny, SLM for the win
