So far Sweden is only getting SLS, not SLM, though they should be getting NASAMS in addition to the SLS
SLS still good, they don’t need NASAMS. Also I’m pretty sure most NASAMS models are stationary.
hey, id be all for giving all planes all their gadgets if the aviable loadouts were mode separated. but since they are not, simply giving EFTs full strength FnF Brimstones would kill the top tier ground (not like it was exactly alive but you get the point).

not sure, i guess we will have to see how its implemented in the first place before we can think of any counters. but as always, its ground based radar, so the detection will be limited against low flying planes.
and i mean hell, im grinding this stuff as soon as patch drops. if you want we can try to think of something in custom battle, test things out.

I agree with your line of thinking, but gaijin doesn’t work like that. I honestly just wished they gave these systems to the nations that needed them.
Also nerd alert, these are all still technically short range SAMs. Medium range is in the territory of 100km+, like Patriot and S-125. Long range is in the territory of like 400+, and essentially really only is just ABMs with THAAD, S-500, etc.
ig the closest thing we have to estimate with is just hovering in a fox3 capable harrier and just throwing missiles at people
I think that depends on whose definition you go for, that “M” in the name literally stands for Medium range :P

the SLAMRAAM afaik late version gets 120C or 120D so im pretty sure its gonna be good
but its a uncaged caged “AD” so not sure how can u dodge or intercept 38mt

Technically CAMM is a short range missile. At least in Polish service. Then at the same time CAMM-MR is designated for medium range, so it all depends on the missile variant

brimstone cas gameplay will be impossible now with more sophisticated sams entering the game
Mavericks and PGMs will still be fine and you will likely still be able to get to the battlefield by flying low in your Eurofighter if you don’t want to use a different plane in GRB
But it depends on the interceptors that air defence system is using
As an example the s400 can use multiple interceptors such as the
9M96E range: 40 km
and 40N6E range 380 km
