IRIS-T SLM and Multi-Vehicle SAM Systems!

the IIR seeker is behind the con the con get released when the IIR seeker has the range of the target

sweden SLS has 10 KM of range 5 km in altitude so no
any CAS top tier can easily kdestroy it

EF-2000 does not have any FnF, in British tt the only thing that does is the harrier (I’m pretty sure) which only has 4 and being transonic has a hard time against AA, especially these AA.

In Italy its the same thing but you also have access to JAS-39, which is far from a good cas jet (4 hard points for AtG)

Germany is even worse, F-4 only carries 2 Mavs.

12km and 5km
although should be 6-8km alt

I wonder is there any possibilities with this new mechanic that Russia might be able to receive the S350?

Gripen C too, but running that for 4x AGM-65 to try and fight Su-30, F-15E, Rafales, Typhoons, etc just for FnF would suck

I’m not denying that the Eurofighter is limited to SAL Brimstones, but the people that managed to use the Brimstones succesfully before the update will most likely still be able to use them in the same manner after the update.

As for Britain, the Gripen C and Tornados have FnF as well.

I say probably Buk-M3 would be better. S-350 is too much for now

that model only shoots iris-t or aim 9x as well

Isn’t the Type 81c 30 year older than the SLM? But yeah Type 03 certainly is coming some day and i will be a very happy man.

There’s still hope for China, Japan and Sweden, as they all have medium range options, however if Gaijin does their usual thing these three nations will be left without this capability

Upon special request, Diehl Defense included an Iris-T SLS launch vehicle into the Iris-T SL complex as well. Mainly to be able to use cheaper missiles vs. ‘cheaper’ threats. Not every shot is worth an Iris-T SLM.

Will this be modeled ingame?

I hope this can actually lock helis further than 2km

What SAM is Britain going to get?
  • Sky Sabre
  • Umkhonto
  • Akash
  • Another 10.X SPAA via India
  • None lol

unlikely, german configuration doesnt have the capability

its a radar lock start so yes, problem rather is minimum range stuff

Minimum engagement range afaik is 1.5km, or so i heard

Yeah no this is a terrible idea
Do you really want to seperate the vehicle into 2 and force players to spawn both of them?
Noones going to do that and you really cant rely on that either

Plus if you did that noone would spawn the radar because NOONE is going to spawn in a radar and wait until a teammate spawns the launcher
Maybe this can work when you are in a squad but in random matches this just completely would not work

It should be Skysabre as Britian and Italy can both use CAMM
