Invisible targets... Anyone else got this on Sinai?

Hi folks

In the last few days I played Sinai twice in A-10A and A-10C, but both times left quickly: There was a sole ground battle event in the Northwest (D2/D3), but in my Mavericks and Sniper Pod’s view the enemy ground forces were invisible, with only their firing effects showing, making it impossible to engage with guided weapons.

Does anyone else observe this?

Btw, in general, flying the A-10C in Sim is frustrating in 90%of the cases, because there’s nothing to do: Either you’re the first A-10C on target and can clean out the whole ground battle in one or two passes, or your one of the others that wait endlessly for any targets to appear. Yesterday gave up after burning my 30 minutes fuel: Watched one hog killing all ground targets, then waited 25 minutes for anything else to spawn before going to bed. They really should change Sim so that at any time there is at least one ground battle event available.

This might not be the same thing but i’ve experienced similar things at longer ranges but that turned out to be those small two man artillery teams that were so tiny that the pixels didn’t render at that distance. I could still see the smoke from them firing though. This does however make a little bit of sense, it’s two human body temp targets in the middle of the dessert, the sand is probably hotter than they are in thermals.

But i assume you mean the actual vehicles. I’ve had client server de sync with the AI ground units in sim where they sometimes go through the floor and can’t be seen, or they are some meters away from where i see them to be. This has also at times resulted in laser guided weapons hitting exactly where i’m aiming on the visual vehicle but the actual vehicle itself is 5-10m away and only gets splashed by fragments…
