Invisible tanks

i had this problem a lot, 4x in 1 game. I got aggervated and decided to try a little something. I installed the game on another drive with minimal selected (about 19gigs). Ive been playing with that for a week now and have not had any trouble. Looks like my $1200 VC was pointless.

This just means you haven’t seen it since you noticed it and switched installs…

You’ve gone nowhere in terms of recognizing and understanding what it is.

what? i use nvidia experience to clip 15 seconds of the game. several times I’ve watch different clips and had a tank fire at me that was not visible. then when it fired it showed up. so what are you talking about? I don’t like or want to play on this. but it is more enjoyable than being killed by ghost tanks

But because you switched installs you’ve clouded the issue itself after doing no diagnostics or query beforehand.

and that was back in May. only thing i got was people telling me my crew levels were to low. at the time most of the were around 90+. if you will look on the forums you will see i am not the only one with this issue. the point of this post was not to cry about the problem but rather to pass on a way i found that it don’t happen. since it does not happen on minimal install, with high graphic setting but rather on full ultra HQ (not sure about installs in between). the issue seems to be with the full ultra HQ install. And that is my point.

fyi I have it on 2 drives. 1 with full hq because i like sim battles and you can not do sim on minimal. then i have an install of minimal for Regular RB games.

Naming your threads dumb titles, makes it easier for anyone who’s actually going to try helping you, to not turn up…

Your conclusion you have reached that it’s the installation volume isn’t the case, as the way this works is generally through the keen vision method, but it can also be a LoD difference in the maps that the server uses to pick up the obstructions.

It’s very much more often to be the crew skills, but whenever that is mentioned, rather than checking that or even taking that on board, everyone else jumps in with thier assumption of what the issue is, as your thread became an example of.

The title of your thread only brings the aggrieved, because they too want to blame the game more than actually fix your issue.

My post on your thread got flagged in the first place as well, which is peak ignorance on whoevers part that flagged it.

your right. its all me. its all my crew levels being to low. its my render distance (even though the settings are the same on both installs). but the only difference is the installs. and yea, the one i linked was a rant. i was mad at the time.

how tf do you not understand that i found a way for it to not happen to me. I shared that and still you want to say its me.

go troll someone else. im done with you.

It’s funny that a fair amount of people on this forum say this exact wording when they can’t actually handle what’s being put forth to them…

And you’re still mad…

And I said that it’s more likely that it’s a confirmation bias that’s causing you to think that you’ve done anything.

Your mind was already made up the second you made these threads, and because you got opposed or even attempted to be informed about possible actual reasons, you then get all upset and angry, trying to avoid taking on board what was said.
