Whenever a ground vehicle which is open top gets on fire the crew outside disappears and becomes invisible
u can see it in the video above u can also test it out in test drive urself grab a low tier tank and go to test drive u will see a spaa closest to u where u spawn and shoot its hood area to get it on fire and the crew disappears

that’s so you don’t see burning crew so the game can keep its low pegi rating
because remember, when your loader takes a 120mm sabot to the face, he didn’t die, he just became unconsious
Just see a italian pizza car (AB something or AS something, the one with cannon) crew missing when I fired it’s engine and think it is dead
On the Xbox Series S, the crews will disappear when they are 50 metres away, to save the limited VRAM. Then if I zoom, they appear again. If I play WT on a proper PC or Series X, I will never get used to it xD

just today some guy brought a btr zd to 10.7 and as i was playing in a lvkv 9040c i saw him and shot him my first shot set the engine on fire and the crew outside disappeared and i thought the gunner and loader are dead and shot the bottom area and killed the 4 ppl below but then i saw the turret turning towards me i was like what the heck and got confused and tried shooting it but it killed me

i wasnt aware of this bug until today
i went by saw the tank shot it
i thought i killed the crew above cause they are invisible
i stopped firing for a moment cause i saw the turret turning towards me and i was confused cause there wasnt anyone on top to arm the gun so i shot the area under the gun to see if i could kill someone alive in there (this diid happen fast so i had to make a quick choice on where to shoot)
This happens on PC as well and has for years without being addressed.

haha yea it makes no sense to add this kinda filter like its a game about war come on gaijin
and im suprised with enlisted being t rated once toggle the “gore” option its just bloody hell everywhere
Prob a parental locking feature
Also that’s what I meant by fallout physics of flying body parts
It would be nice if they had an option like that in war thunder
