Overall, it is an upgrade compared to the old one.
I would like to see extra clarification on what the rating categories are, and how players should rate vehicles. A tooltip or small description of the category and how to rate it would be a great addition.
There could be alot of nuance to aerial combat and flight performance (and what exactly they mean), and the balance category isn’t very clear.
For tanks the categories are much clearer, but I would like to see the balance category described better. What does a balance of 5 or 1 mean? Is a perfectly balanced vehicle a 3, or is it a 5? What about overtiered and undertiered vehicles?

I mean, just look at google, make a search and look at how much space isn’t used. it’s not an isolated issue, it’s a widespread outdated standard.

Can confirm, had to switch to light mode from dark mode to be able to select ratings.
I have to say, I love new filtering options, like by Manufacturer, or by game update, you hit the (s)nail on the head with this one for me:)
I am also very much looking forward to community made articles about vehicles. The knowledge base of some War Thunder community members is breathtaking and I hope we will see some gems from them there.

New Wikipedia has the option to make the page wide, also dark mode. It’s on the right hand side.

Not an LLM styled AI, just one that copies/pastes info from other articles to create a coherent template for editors to add to

IMO removing usage in battle and the pros & cons is kind sad but maybe we can get a new comment section instead? It is much better to see multiple user rating of the vehicle rather than a paragraph that will usually be outdated in 2 or 3 major update anyway.
Ofc there’s the problem of moderating it and etc but would be kinda cool no?

Honestly, I don’t like the new GUI but then I also don’t like the new profile GUI either. To me, both are just not that good. Wish we could optionally swap between both layouts. Best of both worlds.

Well, I was a contributor of articles on the ‘old’ Wiki, mostly vehicle histories - and imagine my surprise on opening the new wiki and discovering all of my work, all of the articles I wrote - in my spare time, without ever being asked or ever being rewarded in any way - have suddenly disappeared. None of the vehicle articles has a history section anymore, apparently that is no longer important.
I’m horrified, gutted and utterly disappointed.

I may be an outlier, but I dearly miss the “Random Page” functionality.
I can remember many a fun session with my friends (all like me Air RB players) which went:
- “What shall we fly?”
- “Do you need something for grind?”
- “Nah I want a pause from grinding.”
- “Let’s do PLANE ROULETTE!”
Someone hits “Random Page” until a plane comes up that everyone in the squad has.
- “Okay, guys, flex your muscles, today we fly the awesome I-16 type 5 - but the Chinese one!” etc
By eliminating the “Random Page” you took away a fun game mode… if that is simply a config toggle somewhere - may I have it back please?

Well, they’re both CAC, but try to explain to the guys composing the new Wiki that the Chengdu Aerospace Corporation and the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation are two different things.
No edit button either, so good luck trying to rectify that mistake as a user.
That was the good thing about the old Wiki. If you found an error in an article, you could easily change it. Now you almost have to write a new article that is posted in the feed of the old article - and ignored because it’s somewhere in the bottom of the article’s feed.

@DnaGonite, now another issue:
The rating bar overlay the rating buttons, making impossible to rate the vehicle. I can’t click on the numbers when the bar is over them.
