What a waste. Especially that 2 years ago these special pack decal where available on console…
You may not know how much help the Ammo Racks feature is for players like me, but now I cannot find it in WIKI 3.0, this is an obvious negative optimization.
Is there any way to get these snail packs on PSN? Us console players don’t like feeling left out.
@Schindibee @Rhosta @Я十R_ミLöwe彡 Just in case you guys didn’t see, you can still access the old wiki:
yea why do we have to be left out on a lot of these kinds of things
Okay, but will the old wiki keep update for new vehicles?
Am i missing something or for now you can’t rate any vehicles ?
I disabled all my extensions just to be sure and it was not that and yes i am logged in and i tried to rate vehicles that i own and played a lot recently and i am only able to like, nothing else. (i don’t have the message that says that i need to play it x games on those that i tried to rate)
It appears it doesn’t work at the moment, other people have had the same issue including me
ok, thanks you.
I second that
Please return the function of searching which vehicles use which cannon or ammunition since it was very useful especially for those of us who create suggestions in the forum since in my case it allowed me to know which vehicle had a specific cannon, missile, bomb, etc. that way compare it with the vehicle I am suggesting and thus be able to give an appropriate BR. Another thing that I cannot find is the function of being able to edit the history of the vehicle in the wiki since, for example, when reading the history of the Israeli M-51 they mention that in the service in Chile they were called M-60, which is false.
The issue has been forwarded, thanks for reporting
Why does it not remember that I want to view Arcade stats? It just keeps defaulting to RB. Ever heard of cookie files?
@Stona_WT the m41a1 series is missing the m42 (its an spaa I know) as it is mounted on a modified m41 hull
also there’s no section for scout helicopters only utility and attack
OH-58 is a scout helicopter and there’s a few others I believe
Problem:
100 battles in a game mode that takes 2/3 hours is different to 100 battles in a game mode that takes 5-10 minutes.
Unless they use the “30 minutes of battle time is equal to 1 battle” as they do for boosters, I’m not a fan of pushing things to 100 battles.
One issue I ran into:
Easier, at-glance overview of related vehicles by nation & vehicle type.
On the old wiki, I could scroll to the bottom of the page of say, IL-2 and see for instance all USSR strike craft.
Now, it’s much less obvious how to obtain this data.
Also aircraft engine information seems to be less detailed. I recall being able to see actual data on thrust and also MEC settings.
I cannot find information about MEC settings for the planes I fly.
So if I want to search for the battle pass information where do I go?
They could use an AI to fill in the gaps of copy paste vehicles tbf
Please add a section for MEC settings. These are fairly vital for both cranking out an edge in performance, and just flying in an immersive way for simmers if the aircraft did not realistically have automatic engine controls.
Learning these through trial and error is possible, but it’s a fair bit of excess effort. Looking up the plane’s manuals and technical databooks is not always applicable either due to different modelling.
Especially if we’re talking german planes with how easy it is to utterly destroy your engine by using MEC wrong. I fly mostly american navy and japanese planes (and I’ve figured out optimal gear switches and the like) but if I wanted to learn the Fw190s or bf109s, where am I supposed to go?
This information was in the articles about vehicles. The editors plan to gradually transfer the existing articles to the new version of the wiki.
