Here we talk about issues, suggestions, ideas, or generally anything concerning Infantry maps and strategies. (future or now)

City from Tunisia map would work good

also porting a good chunk of enlisted maps over (especially as infantry is enlisted C&P in its core function) would work decently

underground tunnels on maps would be nice and useful but at a cost. Radio based tech become worthless or unreliable, dark, can become a trap. be things like mines, sewers, bunker complex, repair tunnel, pipe, cave, basement, subway, unground road. stuff like these would be interesting areas because you can avoid or mitigate the effect of snipers, drones and armor. find ways into building basements though tunnels into basements. manholes can be opened and used as a shooting position.

Otherwise a good place to hide from airstrikes and avoid contact when needed.

I hope gaijin uses this to make some interesting maps or modified special versions of ones we have in game. Some underground bits or taking a few sky scrapper maps where the objective is in the building floors would be nice. Tanks would be useful but not that useful.

massive scale verticality is impossible with tanks and ships and not the same for planes. sure we have very hilly and mountain filled maps but its not the same

Infantry is the only one that can properly do the vertical combat i crave (especially as BF6 had a really short honeymoon period)

Once the infantry mode stops being work in progress I have a skyscraper map idea and a bunker complex map idea. AFVs and tanks can squeeze around in the bunker as its one of the missile city types but the sky scraper will be outside and the underground parking only. Also smashing around the first floor because why not. Also it would be cool seeing planes and helis trying to shoot up office floors to get at the infantry inside stay away from the windows.
