I personally think the new Commonwealth tech tree is stupid. And I’m not saying that just to disagree- I’m saying that because I genuinely think that.
Why should I bother to play any other nation, when in the end, the Commonwealth tech tree just gets what they have but better? Why should I play the US for the M1 Abrams and Russia for the T-90 when an Aussie Abrams and Indian T-90 will be in the same tree? Why should I play Germany for the Leos? A Commonwealth tech tree isn’t just copy paste from one nation: it’s a copy paste of all of the best vehicles from every nation put to one. That’s stupid, and not something that promoted interesting (or more importantly) healthy gameplay.
So no, I do not want a Commonwealth tech tree. Because I know that in the end it’s just going to ruin the point of playing any other tech tree in the game.

I guess the Zeros, Ki 43, 44, 61, 84, 100, J2M series, N1K series, R2Y2s, Kikka, etc are US planes huh?
Heck even in jets, the T2-K and F-1 are japanese jets. Also the US planes, Japan gets access to are literally modified like the F4EJ Kai and F-16AJ.
The majority of Germany’s jets are not copy and past, The Cl-13s are different from the F-86 sabres the US has, the Lim 5p is different from mig 17, Mig 19S is different from the USSR mig 19, Mig 21 MF is different, F4F early and late are different, etc.
Britain does not need a Mig 29, if you want to play a Mig 29 play the USSR. The T-90 being added to the British tech tree was a mistake and in all honesty it should be removed and replaced with something else.
Thats fair i guess. Well then I think it should just be a british subtree. I don’t think any other country had its equipment split between different nations(except israel but then they also got their own tech tree so thats fine) and I would hate to not have a proper lineup for my Indian vehicles, not to mention that grinding two different nations just to play a few vehicles is not fun at all.
