Holy canoli.
Can they decompress 12.0-13.0 air now 😭

Id be fine with 2 tbh IF they behaved correctly and didnt reliably attack barrels, roof mounted MGs and turret cheeks all the time

Now M1A1’s, M1A2 and HSTVL / RDFLT will be able to see the Eurofighter and Rafale again, with their only defense being the ADATS if you don’t want to raise the BR to 12.3 for the CLAWS. This makes no sense, either make the planes 13.3 or make the CLAWS 12.0

But muh stats lmfao

the BR change is already live btw, they announce it the moment they changed it

at least prepare us before you screw us in the ass

The first one is greener green and therefore clearly has an advantage in forest maps, duh

But the UHT is more green and positive winrate is also green so its obviously 0.7 more capable

And I though it was the Mighty mouse rockets which make the deffrent, you see, Less rockets = better

Oh yeah and the Mistrals are better than the ATAS which means that the HAC is a more dangerous target for enemy planes so they will attack it more often. Thats also why its obviously worse

CV90105 is arguably almost better except for penetration yet it’s 10.3 lmao. Gaijin is doing VT-5’s dirty.

Ye, + the missing MG Pods

No

MG Pods WITH mighty mouse rockets even. Truly 13.0 material

until now AGS (or any other tanks that was moved from 11.7 to 12.0) was only 0.3br from facing top tier tanks, now its 0.7br away… if anything it got buffed in this update

Funfact, they are bugged, because they are mounted wrong in game xD

The current changes signify a dark turn which could lead to the fall of War Thunder.

Previously, the structure for BR balancing changes came in the form of “Planned Battle Rating Changes for Month/Year”. Such as Planned Battle Rating changes for August 2025 (updated 16:00, 15.08).
Official language for that post and all before it was, and I quote, “battle rating change proposals” or “planned battle rating changes”. At this point, feedback was considered and changes were adjusted based on the player response. Even though such changes were few and far between, they still were there.

From the February 2025 BR Adjustments, feedback was encouraged and legitimized:

Quote

Here’s an example template (per comment):

Mode, vehicle name. 8.0 > 8.3. Reasoning.
If you’d like to write more proposals and participate more actively in proposing changes, make sure to invite your friends and like proposals from other players that you agree with!

We’ll be reading your feedback on the planned Battle Rating changes, so please share your thoughts and suggestions! Make sure to read comments from other players and click on the ‘like’ button on suggestions that you think are most important so that we can see them.

The War Thunder Team.

Even naval decompression had discussion, such as in Planned Naval Battle Ratings Decompression. Note “planned” and language clearly indicating feedback was considered. The Naval decompression topic is an exact equivalent to the the topic we now have. Except here, it is implied no adjustments will be made on the changes. BR movements are referred to in the past tense. The first sentence says “Today, we’ll be releasing an update”, not “Today, we’ll be releasing planned changes”. Edit: While typing this, the update was deployed less than an hour after announcement.
The only hope is of the use of the phrase “initial changes”, which implies future adjustment will be made.

This is perplexing even from a materialist perspective; when balancing the game would not contradict profit, why would players be ignored? We see a trend of increasing ignorance from Gaijin, but for what?

Players’ feedback is an integral part of every game’s development. Losing touch with the community means driving away players and losing the game. If negligence continues, the consequences will be inevitable.
