does russia need a AA at 12.0? there is only ka 52 and premium tank there.
pantsir is still the strongest saclos AA and with a large margin at that, it cant be at a same br as the likes of ito 90.
its better than even the buk in many situations. stronger up close, stronger against multipathing targets and stronger against tanks and stronger against notching targets.
its the 3rd best AA in the game after buk & irist and should realistically go to 12.7, i dont think gaijin is going to do that cuz russian bias, but 12.3 atleast.
Yeah helis need protection, further more, low tier ones. I was flying my Mi-24V and before I could even do anything a plane killed me, next match same thing.
Helicopter gameplay is so bad that when they dropped actually useful helis into the game the community tossed the table because they usually main planes instead of helis

Decompression is good but the spawn point amount for fire & forget missiles from helicopters need to be increased with how devastating they are currently in the game.
Ive always wanted to see them introduce variable SP costs based upon quantity. So you could bring say. 4-8 JAGMs for the current cost, but bringing 12 cost X1.5 and 16 cost X2 or something.
Though the biggest issue imo at the moment, is that helis can attack from the heli pad. Pop up, spam off, land, repeat way too quickly. 0 travel time.
So its time heli pads moved waaaay back, at least for top tier.
Personally, I disagree. But regardless, even if the hstvl is better, does that really warrant a full 1.7 br difference? Seems pretty biased to me considering very similar capabilities. It’s sad that playing 9.3 will 98/100 times end up in a full uptier so we have to face the op Russian lineup.
Overall a good thing, but it should be expanded to further separate some vehicles in the 7.7-9.7 range as it is also too densely packed still.
However: the VT4 being moved to 12.3, the same as the 99A, is a joke, as is the VT4A1 going to 12.7. The VT4 is both less armored and less mobile than the 99A, and arguably closer to a side-grade of the MBT-2000 considering the latter’s superior mobility and comparable armor protection. The VT4A1 is in a similar situation, as it is not superior to the 99A in its current state.
The VT5 also is in a very precarious position, as it is moving to 11.7, the same BR as the Type 90TK. At that rating, it offers virtually 0 advantage over the 90TK (slower reload, similar penetration, less postpen damage, similar mobility, but with ZERO armor). The VT5 should receive its improved BTA2 (DTC02) APFSDS, as well as other improved munitions, and possibly improve the armor according to the interview with the chief engineer (which was reported many times but has been rejected)

Germany has many 12.7 vehicles
Not really the abrams can be pain to play especially after the turret baslet, turret ring, tuuret drive and turret battery unit were added to abrams model, it is literally get pened = you are a road obstacle (no turret travers no engine)
Except for FAF helis i agree woth you, fafs shouldn’t be in game in the first place

VT-4A1 fire power same as ZTZ-99A, protection and mobility much worse than it. And 0.3 BR higher?

Im well aware though it is technically worse.
Frances round im sure is a good 10 of 20 mm worse flate pen wise as well.
Though the leclercs are extremely nice to use due to being extemely well rounded.
Unless I’m not remembering right , the OFL is a wee chunk worse than the BM60.

Arguably the best light tank in game as well as under BRd in my subjective opinion.
VT-4 has slightly more armor than the ZTZ-99A while sharing the same round.
VT-5 is far more mobile than the Centauro RGO, with slightly better protection, and the round difference is what the RGO needs for being notably less mobile.
566mm of angled pen is more than enough at 11.7 and top BR for a light tank.
Buk is dogshit, even claws is better, just for radar update rate

i thought so too. That`s ridiculos that they make decompression but still make those guys equal to 2a7 :/ Idk that game literally has zero tanks excluding STRV122 that can be compared with 2a7.
jokes aside even Abramses do look pale compared to 2a7 and strv, and they have pretty good shots and 5 seconds of reload time. Challengers, Ariettes or T-90M are just jokes here
if HSTVL-L is the second best LT ingame, i wonder which one is first tho.
Tbh i find it too much of a positive feedback on that tank. HSTVL is not bad, thats certain. But that good? Cant be.
its BR makes it hard to use against anyone but soviets that get oneshotted/get two shots to the autoloader.

Especially since its reload buff. It’s obviously no wonder weapon, but it’s a very solid light tank at its BR, and definitely better than the 2S38 (doesn’t mean that the 2S38 isn’t stupidly under tiered)

considering that “other” light tanks are either SPIKE launchers or AFVs with cannons… It may be true, tho still i think it has a bit high battle rating for its abilities. Tho the decompression might make a difference now
