Planes still exist, planes still can guided bombs from greater distances than 15km and JAGMs have 16km range.
Being able to force planes to dive and hide in multipath territory is a huge win against long range CAS.

Can someone tell me why the M1A1 HC and M1A2 are now a full two steps below tanks they are objectively better than??
Why are they allowed to be 12.0 while stuff like CR2E or VT4A1 are foisted to 12.7
I am all for decompression btw but not if it specifically allows certain tanks to absolutely dominate.

idk, i think we playing in different games, we dont even have it game except KH-38 and French Hammers.
And i dont think i saw anybody to use laser guided bombs from that kind of range. What about JAGM’s… well, maybe i saw somebody using it like this, its uneffective cause when JAGM get to the target - the target will already be dead from somebody else. And again S1 will be more effective against it cause when BUK missile will get close to it - he already will be under 50m altitude.
Keep the SEP at 12.0 and SEP V2 at 12.3, neither of them are anywhere near as goos as the rest of the new 12.7s

Lets make it easier for both of us and to not waste our time. Can you compare FlaRakRad and IRIS-T or Ito 90M and SAMP/T? I don’t think so. But all what we are doing for 15 minuts already is comparing S1 and BUK and you need to agree, they are both very good, i want to say what you can chose by yourself what do you want to use in battle but they are both good and need to be on the same BR, or atleast S1 should get 12.3 (but i prefer the same BR).
We have SPICE, AASM Hammers, JDAMs, PGMs and LS-6s. Just because you don’t encounter them as much, doesn’t mean they don’t exist or don’t have the ability to work beyond 15km range.
GNSS is enough, GNSS+IR is better, of course, but the IR portion isn’t necessary to carpet bomb the spawns from a huge distance.
And? That happens to people using LGBs as well, doesn’t change the fact that you can use certain weapons while outside of the range of Anti Air at their BR range.
Again, forcing planes to stay low is enough. Something that gets into the Pantsirs range also has to deal with other, much better SAMs.
Not really. Russia still is stomping with their low tier T-80Us. Untill that is fixed 10.3 is not a fun BR. Not to mention some of the very questionable cas options at that be too.
The FlaRakRad (well, in terms of its missiles, the ammo limitations suck) and ItO-90 are much better than the Pantsir, unless you absolutely need the gun.
Agreed. It simply can’t be put on the same level as the other top tier SPAA. The Spyder AiO is just one vehicle, with half the amount of missiles and the performance of these missiles is far inferior to, say, the SAMP/T or the BUK. This increase in unjustifiable.
Same, it simply can’t compete with tanks such as the T-90M or the Leo 2A7, especially after the recent and outrageous nerf to its roof armour.

Spyder should probably stay 12.0 for the time being. CLAWS should be 12.3.
The other 12.7 SPAA is fine.
M1A1 has almost the same armor as Leclerc, while having almost the same mobility, very similar rounds, and more gun depression yet are different BRs…
