Helis moving to 13.0
F-15E/I, F-16, F/A-18 and Gripen meanwhile: 12.7
Rafale, Su-30SM, Su-34 and Typhoon: 13.0
I’m sure the Helis are more problematic than those planes :))
edit: MiG-29 at 12.3 even

An Mi-28 with braincells can’t be shot down without a kamikaze run
Unlike rafale and Su-30
All these vehicles are still broken
To be honest. They probably are at the moment, with all the issues regarding engaging a heli with the new SAMs and the fact they have a lot more FnF. Let alone the fact they can be a lot more sneaky in how they operate.
Id actually consider something like the MI-28NM on par to a Tornado Rippling off true Brimstones
Except the tornado has infinite fuel and DIRCM
and @Morvran
Doesn’t matter if a heli is harder to counter, now that the SAMs are moving up the planes have to move up as well.
Yes, they have to
Hmm… mixed opinion on that actually. I think the SAMs should be at about the same BR as the aircraft they are meant to be countering.
The SAMs should be at a lower BR, so ground players can counter the planes when they get uptiered
Thing is, they can’t counter those aircraft effectively enough to warrant them being equal or close in terms of br
you’re actually saying, for the black night, the APS and LWS means an extra 1.0 BR over the base CH2? are you mad?
Those are the only real impactful differences between them, and doesn’t even affect you 70% of the time
Black night should more realistically be 12.0 with the Challenger 3, its not 1.0 better than base Challenger 2, only really the 2E is up there with the rest
also can we see further GRB Aircraft Decompression? i might actually want to enjoy the Challenger 2s for once rather than being CAS’d constantly
Imho the Black Night should be higher than the CH3TD, but I agree, 12.7 is too much
Gaijin - “ehh, no”
Imho they’re both marginal upgrades over the Base CH2
CH3 goes for the better gun and being 1.5 ton lighter, BN goes for the APS + LWS and being 0.5 ton heavier
You will go back to fighting F-15s, F-16s, Rafales, Typhoons, etc with your ADATS, FlaRakRad, OTOMATIC, etc
AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!
From my experience the Iron Fist is an extremely powerful asset to have, it’s a lot more valuable than a better gun
But at the end of the day, both of these tanks are a bit over-BR’d in this decompression attempt
Yep.
BN should be 12.0. Sure the APS is good… but does change the mobility, firepower or really even the survivability half the time. Just saves you from the odd CAS
Honestly… I dont really see why the 2E should be 12.7, given that you have comprable mobility in other tanks and it just equalises, but I dont think it makes the CR2 into anything exceptional. It still has the same problems as the base CR2 just minus one. So again id make it 12.0
CR3TD could be fine at 12.0, if it had 5 second reload, otherwise, it should be 11.7
Iron Fist works against APFSDS
Damn VT-4 just got added and it aleady got a BR increase before even receiving any buffs this is peak Chinese bias 🥀
So this means the chinese mbts are getting their actual reload speeds and spall liners? Or are they gonna be stuck with a reload speed from 1972? Also Type 10 is at most 12.3 the only thing it has is an autoloader of 4 seconds, no armor, poor acceleration(thanks to poor modeling really) and it doesn’t even has APS just because it can reload faster is 12.7?
On longer ranged maps, sometimes. But not on the usual CQB matches where the dart velocity is a lot higher
As with all the other Challengers, if you are forced into CQB you are f’d
