Incorrect Laser Designator Behavior on the JAS39E

The laser designator does not remain locked to the point of interest when sight stabilization is activated or after launching a missile, when stabilization is enabled automatically. Normally, the laser should remain fixed on the selected point of interest, but this does not happen.

Laser guidance itself continues to function. As a result, a laser-guided Brimstone missile starts following the player’s line of sight instead of tracking the selected point of interest.

My assumption is that this issue may be related to the introduction of the radio command guidance mechanic for bombs and missiles, such as the SPICE 250. I did not observe this behavior before this mechanic was added.

At the same time, the game already had a feature that allowed the laser designator to be controlled independently from the point of interest, with the laser following the player’s line of sight. It is possible that the current bug is caused by a conflict between these two mechanics.

To reproduce the issue, first release a SPICE 250 bomb, or any other weapon that uses the radio command guidance function. Then launch a Brimstone missile or any other weapon that requires laser guidance.

I am also providing a video that was recorded TWO MONTHS AGO , and the issue STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED :

At this point, it seriously feels like the company is far more interested in making money from premium content than in fixing major gameplay issues. If a bug is not directly connected to payments, purchases, or someone’s bank card, it can apparently be left ignored for months, even when it affects core game mechanics.
