Heavy Cavalry update broke CAS with SPICE 250s (and GBU-53s)

The new update has resulted in a major bug(s) for CAS aircraft with SPICE 250s and GBU-53s

This video I’ve made showcases said bug(s):

This basically makes the normal CAS loadout on the Eurofighter unusable since dropped spice bombs would eliminate your ability to use any laser guided munitions such as brimstones because the Laser designator starts slaving to HMS despite placing a P.O.I marker.

Update: This affects any aircraft that carry SPICE 250s and GBU53s which includes the Gripen E and several variants of the F-15.

Thanks for letting me know, I’ll add it to the bug report. Does it cause the same problem with the laser designator not following P.O.I marker?

It does not. Only affects SPICE 250s and GBU-53s to my knowledge.

Same for me, the only two munitions i have this problem with is the two ir bombs. Maybe it has something to do with the MITL feature? Either way im glad someone made such an in depth report about this. Have you gotten any kind of response from an official about this? I dont see anything here or on your bug report.

Its makes sense it has something to do with MITL, considering the bug started the same update MITL was added and other non MITL IR bombs don’t have this problem. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten any response on the matter.

However, a bug report I made about MG ammo belts being misaligned on the Leo 1A5s got accepted in under 30 MINUTES of reporting. So it looks like the bug managers have their priorities straight
