Incorrect and unjust teamkilling in simulator ground battles ( directly to the devs )

First of all, this letter is addressed to the dev team.

So, I have played a simulator ground battle recently, where I managed to destroy two vehicles, which were enemy at first sight, but after the shots, they were both friendly. Then I was kicked from the battle.

The texts in the picture are in Hungarian.

The main problem with these vehicles are they are captured, or import vehicles.
So, how can I see the difference between a friendly M36 and a US M36 in simulator battles? How can I decide that tank belongs to Japan, or the USA? The short answer is nohow. In no way!

To avoid such events in the future, subtracting copy paste, captured, imported vehicles from simulator battles is necessary!

I can tell, I’m 100% against teamkilling. My goal is also to win the actual battle, but when I can’t identify the target, I might commit teamkilling. And in this case banning is unjust! I can press the “Sorry, for teamkill” button as I want, I will still get the ban, and I still can’t decide is it an enemy or is it a friendly.

So, please, subtract the captured, imported, copy pasted vehicles from simulator battles!

This one really made me angry.

if you rangefind a target, it’ll iff said target.
You can also machine gun it, if you get a hit marker, its an enemy else its an ally

There are some tanks that don’t have any machine guns. Like the premium Ho-Ri, or the British Avenger.

Use the rangefinder, it tells you if there are allies where you are aiming.

there are times when I don’t have time to rangefind. And sometimes IFF doesn’t happen and it just tells me the range

Expect it does not work if:
-the target is moving
-you are moving
-your camera moves
-if server latency does not register you pressing the button
Becouse how long it takes, you must stand completly still, exposing yourself and even then it only works if the target also stay perfectly still.

This is skill issue.

Currently it is expected that when playing sim battles you be aware of what vehicles you are fighting against, what vehicles your allies are using, and what vehicles they enemy could try to fool you with. And in my opinion there is nothing wrong with that.

(it is meant to be an ultra hardcore gamemode after all.)

Yes, but there are land lease vehicles that only differ from a slight shade of paint from the original
Edit: Also, it is nigh imposibble to differentiate a BMPT and a Namer trough gen 1 thermals in the heat of battle.

Good luck pointing at the differences for a Japaneese sherman, M36 and a US sherman, M36 from 500m!

I’m also curious what skills I need to notice the differences between such indentical vehilces.

Utilizing all of the elements of the game to actually determine what nation a vehicle is from is a skill. Using the tab screen to see what tanks your friendlies are using, context clues like direction of movement and paint schemes are also important. Many captured vehicles also have emblems placed on them to prevent friendly fire IRL, which (if not bushed up to hell) you can use to your advantage.

Furthermore, when queuing into a battle you have all the time you need to see what vehicles you could face. Noting that say the Italians are on the Axis side, so you should watch out for things like the Italian m18 or sherman.
