Incorrect afterburner thrust for F110‑IHI‑129 engine on Mitsubishi F‑2

The Mitsubishi F‑2 in War Thunder uses the F110‑IHI‑129 engine, as stated in the game. However, the afterburner thrust is incorrectly set to 11 480 kgf, which corresponds to the older F110‑GE‑100 engine.

Public, non‑classified sources confirm that the F110‑IHI‑129 produces 131 kN (13 381 kgf) of thrust with afterburner.

sorry if i put this suggestion wrong its my first time using this

If all of the information is correct and is backed by (I believe) one primary and some secondary sources submit a bug report. :)

A: for bug reports you would need to use the CBR:
https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder?from

B:did you used AI to find the Souces?
Because:

This Page does not exists

Just mentions the thrust class of 29.000lb

Thats litarally about a ship

Whatever this is

Ok, yes its AI…
Because even General Electrics Aerospace doesnt agrees with you…

F110-129 = 129kN…

@ron_23 do the thing, post the Inglorious bastards 3 glass image

Is that recorded installed thrust?
Otherwise it’s not relevant.
The F110-GE-100 doesn’t push 11,480kgf static thrust in-game BTW.

  1. This would be a bug report not a suggestion.

  2. Statcards, even x-ray views of the engine, lie. If you wanna actually find an engines thrust you need to look at the localhost data midflight.

  3. The engine power on the F-2 is roughly correct in game. ATM, it uses the same thrust profile the F-16C uses with the same engine. Its intake optimization should perform mildly better at low speeds from what we know about its design being based on MCID-713, but we don’t know enough fully to get it bug reported.
