time ago i made a post on “Gameplay Problems” topic about how intercepting missiles is not working lot of the times, no one gave a shit about it.
To this day i still find problems using SPAA, sometimes i hit the enemy plane, see it explode on fire but i dont get the credits like. Any idea when this will be fixed?
1st clip: well you clearly see how my Roland fucking explodes on the Su-25 face and he is fine. Sound is muted since i was listening to a video while playing. 2nd clip: again, missile to enemy heli, it fucking explodes but no credit is given. 3rd clip: missile fired directly to F14-IRAF at his face but no damage, like if the fact that i died first made the missile dissapear or something. 4th clip: the problem i mentioned time ago, intercepting missiles is not consistent, you fire your missile at em, your missile explodes right on it , it even dissapeared from radar, but it continued flying to me like nothing.
Looks like having just 2 missiles and a big slow fat truck is not enough pain.
It didnt hit the SU, it hit the rocket the SU had launched and proxy detonated it… hence the big explosion
Same as first clip, you hit something the helo had launched not the helo. it had a AGM headed towards you or someone near you and your missile proxy fused on it
Once you died, missile wasnt tracking and looked like it went too low to proxy, there was no detonation in the video. You would have to go into replay and watch where it went and what it did.
Could have just not done enough to the AGM or the F4 pilot launched 2 and you didnt catch the second one with the delay in its launch.
i thought about the possibilty of hitting their rockets, but anyways on these cases you are making the enemy explode by hitting their rockets, the game should credit the kill for things like this.
the 3rd clip maybe, we can see how straight the missile goes but im gonna check the replay to be sure 100%
(Tried to use freecamera but i couldnt, i think the replay system is bugged or something, it sucks lol)
4th clip, you was right, they were flying so close to each other i saw and detected just one. what a bad day to be a 2 missiles only platform on cases like this lol
You have to remember with the replay system as well that vehicles arent always exactly where they were in match (have watched some vehicles do some crazy disco dancing around on every one I have seen). That one is hard to tell since the camera changes in your in match video before the missile gets to the target but the replay shows it phasing through the F-14 (the phase through part is 99% a replay issue though) but it is questionable enough that I couldnt answer one way or the other.
So far as the SU, it was hit and put on fire… but considering there was no notification of damage, it may not have been you that set it on fire… or their own rocket detonating set them on fire. Your SAM was still far enough away from the airframe to not really do much damage wise from the blast. At 23 seconds you can see a tracer coming from the left to right side of the screen where someone else was actively firing MGs at it which also corresponds with the timing of your SAM detonating on its rocket. The blast could have obsucured the MG’s striking it and causing the fire as well.
Looking closer at the helicopter video, I have zero clue unless he J’d out when he saw your SAM coming in since he was still airborne and flying no problem nor damage. I have zero idea on that one now as I watch it frame by frame… Could have proxy’d on an AGM and the AGM frags killed him… yeah, I retract my earlier idea on it. I have zero clue about that one.
well the first clip here looks like a non armed missile arming distance is 300 meters for the vt1
so below 300m the missile will just ignore everything
