Is there a reason the Wiesel 1A4 and other spaa like that get scouting while the M163 doesn’t? I thought spaa with poor surface to surface capability get it but it has access to APDS which improves it’s that capability, something the M163 does not.
I just feel gaijin needs more transparency in how they decide what vehicles get what and so on.
P.S. remember when they did roadmaps? What happened to those?
And you think just because they did it once means they should stop doing it? Stop being transparent? You don’t think that they’ll just go back to doing what they did to warrant that whole ordeal to begin with?
The only consistent thing in WT is the inconsistency.
I guess they class it as an SPAA is just so u can spawn it for really cheap but then that logic fall apart when u take a look at the Type 87 p and after the Luchs got added.
I did not think is was a big deal, but there is a pattern to it. SPAA without guns have scouting. SPAA with guns do not have scouting. I do not know if there is exceptions.
I would not mind having scouting on my CS/SA5, but then I’d be getting quite a bit of SP in my opinion. I don’t think it would be fair to other spaa that don’t have guns to defend themselves.
The Wiesel was more of a recce vehicle as far as I know, but devs tend to place vehicles where they don’t belong (Sd.kfz. 222 being a SPAA too, for example). The M163 has nothing to do with recce vehicles I’m afraid.
But yes, just like with everything else, devs are inconsistent on this matter too.
