Inconcistency in in battle damage Repairtime

Issue: Inconcistency of repairtimes:

Situation A, A player was in a long range duel with me:

  • we both hit us at nearly the same time

  • he sustained: loss down to 2 crew members (both dark red), broken breach, broken ring, broken elevation, broken barrel

  • i sustained: los down to 3 crew members, broken breach

  • i had a 25 Second repair

  • he shot me when my timer was at 15 seconds ( and i checked in replay it was infact him and no he had no repair( vehicle T-64))

Not only did he repair all this damage and chambered a new round, but he did it with the “lowest point” a crew can be at

Situation B, I sustain damage from 3 different enemies:

  • Damage: Breach only, loss down to 2 crew ( both red)
  • repairtime 83 seconds EIGHTY-THREE ( and this is what even brings me to write this post)
  • i ofcourse get shafted into my arse mid repair

My issue with this

  • power of “Ace” crews is WAY to high, the sometimes 8 seconds for a Barrel split in half or a burning tank with no power is an absoluteley outright BROKEN mechanic

  • power of the repairskill in general is way to high, The effect of this skill in combination with the ace crew is just ridiculous

  • no repair of a major inflicted damage should be shorter than the round that was used to cause it took to reload, it is just pure pain if you take out someones gun in a duel and they can fire back before you chambre a new round

what i believe needs to be done:

  • major nerf to the effects of crewskill towards repair to the point that it makes almost no difference at all if you have a ace crew or a rookie

  • fixed minimum repair times per class of gun: Autocannon, Smoothbore, Howitzer, etc. ( W/wo autoloader)

  • fixed maximum repairtimes after Crewdamage : ( again per class and calibre of gun)
