FWIW, just ‘fought’ (meaning; got targeted) by an IRIS-T SLM on a F-5E FCU during CAP duties.
It was quite literally not even that bad.
You just have to fly beneath its radar scan.
He managed to crit a wing, but I still flew.
I can definitely see it being a massive skill check, but I did on a F-5E, and I’m not a great player by any means.

A great lot of us are sick and tired of planes in GROUND battles, so the fact that GROUND vehicles can finally play GROUND battles in a game mode called GROUND is a nice breath of fresh air. The only thing is that the maps are still so small, but I pray we get larger maps so we can finally have revenge against the oppressors. The AGM spam for the past few years was dreadful, and the Kh-38s and Hammers have been oppressive as well. God forbid GROUND players on GROUND battles can finally fight back in other countries that are not just USSR with the Pantsir.
Do not talk to us about balance, when for the past few years, there has been NO BALANCE. GROUND battles was filled with nothing but ODLers because of AIR VEHICLES in GROUND BATTLES, with the only thing able to defend us was by playing USSR for the Pantsir. There was NO BALANCE, not when the A-10 dominated with AGM from across the map, not when the F-16s were slamming the ground with AGMs, not when the F-15s were hurling GBU-39s and AGMs from spawn, not when the Russians were spamming Vickers and Kh-38s, not when France was hurling Hammers. THERE WAS NO BALANCE. Now there is, I’m sorry that CAS players in general cannot play GROUND battles without hiding in the AIR!

Just spawn tank slm don’t even have mg . U can go mg it on the other side before this tanks and spaa just could only die to it and I had to always leave my tank just so I can spawn in planes just to kill the kh38 spammers . Who was i supposed to kill a plane flying in a tank or in a spaa with 12km max range where a 3g turn would make it not hit the target. Start playing tanks and go kill slm if u wanna do cas
