IR weapons can acquire track lock if something in range passes through their FOV, which makes them much more dangerous than GNSS munitions, even more so with the GNSS drift implemented in the latest update.
Yeah 10.7 imo is where balance tends to get really bad for both tanks v.s tanks and tanks v.s planes.
I don’t know what to tell you guys, but there always are rats that slip through. Not to forget the amount of perfectly designed maps featuring plenty of spots from which you can shoot into the enemy spawn.
Also, honorable mention: Vehicles with low velocity shells (BMD-4, BMP-3, etc), IR ATGMs and/or grenade launchers doing NLOS shenanigans

Flanking parasites arrive way before people can spawn planes most of the time
its a 11.0 attacker, being compared to 12.0 AA. it will have rough time, simply put.

because there needs to be pantsir in the first place, circling back to what i wrote. that pantsir will either have to be first spawn, doing nothing half the game
or will have to lose its vehicle in order to spawn pantsir - and thats even assuming said player will know theres AV8B with mavericks coming BEFORE IT MAKES ITS ATTACK RUN.
i know CAS players are superelite turbo uber gigachad smurfs with 100% winrate and K:D of 420:69 and could make woman pregnant just by looking and never paid their taxes and cross the street when theres a red light, but im not them, and as such, if im in tank i have no idea if theres AV8B with mavericks in the air launching from 8km range BEFORE it makes its attack run.

Are you saying that they are engaged in scouting at that time and are reducing the price of the plane? So the CAS is so cheap, they need to raise the price.
What does that have to do with SPAAs not being able to rely on their team to protect them from rats, flankers, snipers, etc?
Careful, he’s going to cry that the most underpowered vehicle class in the game needs to be nerfed because he’s not allowed to abuse CAS mechanics as a simple “point and click” game as he has grown accustomed to.

Its obviously worse at long range interception but its hybrid system with both guns and missiles, which is why i think its supposed to supplement TOR/HQ17 as SHORAD and cover its deadzones/weaknesses.

More like cant, I have hit those stupid things with upwards of 6 proxy fuse 40mm and they still dont die. Gaijin made those things out of some rare unearthy material that doesnt take damage with a hitbox so small that it has to lane split around atoms
