Mate, the gunless Ar 234 and the F-117 are not even capable of destroying a single base in one pass and they can only clear a couple of ground targets at best
I’m not, i don’t play ground just to play air, i play ground to play tanks i’m sure i’m not alone in that thinking either, for the people that want to play that way ground rb remains unchanged so premiums remain unchanged with the addition of tank only to give people the choice to play ground vehicles while being unmolested by air.

People are more likely to buy premium planes and helis if they can use those in ground and air (or PvE in case of the helis).
Even if in reality Gaijin would sell more premium tanks because of additional players joining WT for the ground-only mode, from their point of view a ground-only mode would decrease the incentive to grind air and helis, meaning they would sell fewer packs.

To be completely honest, I wish they would just ban certain vehicles in certain modes.
Planes that cannot kill other planes (bombers and strike planes without guns, airburst rockets or turrets) shouldn’t be playable in air battles.
Vehicles that have been hidden for “historical”/“realism” reasons shouldn’t be playable in realistic and sim battles.
Also, not an outright ban, but top tier planes shouldn’t have been compressed into top tier ground battles, they should have been opt-in.

Ground battles are combined arms, as in tanks, helis and planes are playable.
Air battles are combined arms, as in planes are playable and planes, ground vehicles and bases are targets.
Naval battles are combined arms, as is ships and planes are playable. Also, while not designated as SPAA, there are ships that are much more dedicated to dealing with planes than others.
Heli PvE is just that: Helis vs AI planes, tanks and bases.

The whole logic of this thinking doesn’t make any sense when you can’t spawn ground vehicles in air battle or naval. This already pass off as if “I have a sandwich, therefore no one else is hungry”
Not gonna happen, air maps are too big, lack proper terrain and are very low detail.
The SEAD mode could feature playable AA, but I wouldn’t expect that to happen.
To be fair, it makes no sense to have ships and tanks on the same map. Air modes are honestly legacy and need a complete overhaul at the very least.
Yeah, its all outdated and needs to be completely reworked. I feel like air modes are just there idling since it takes no effort to maintain.
Air definitely needs reworks, but the reason for the low poly, low detail air maps isn’t that they are outdated.
The maps have to be like that to make the game less intensive to run. Ground maps and naval maps are like that as well, the areas that tanks or ships cannot enter are low poly and low detail.

TO mode are perfectly reasonable request, the person who against it are players who play CAS, they didn’t give a S if tankers wanted to play with them or not, there wouldn’t be any CAS hating thread if we have separate game mode which is also the root problem. CAS in ground battles is like someone spawn a tor or pantsir in 7.0 air battles because they spent “a lot of points therefore they are entitled for free kills”, luckily we can’t respawn in airrb, even in ground ab we can spawn A-10 at 6.3 when we have enough points, how about pantsir in air ab early jet tier and placed them at objective points? A bunch of plane class that relying on gnp to earn points will become useless lol
