Incendiary Weapons

With the recent second testing of infantry, I am placing forward discussion posts to explore potential equipment and mechanics this one focused on incendiary weapons such as flamethrowers, Molotov cocktails, and other flame-based tools.
The core idea behind incendiaries is area denial and sustained pressure, rather than instant elimination. Unlike standard explosives, these weapons would focus on creating fire zones that persist over time, forcing players to reposition, avoid certain routes, or risk damage by pushing through. This could add another layer of tactical gameplay, especially in urban environments, chokepoints, and defensive scenarios.
Examples of Incendiary Equipment
- Flamethrowers (e.g., M2 Flamethrower, LPO-50)
- Molotov cocktails (improvised incendiary)
- Incendiary grenades (e.g., AN-M14 TH3)
- White phosphorus grenades/smoke/shells/bombs (dual smoke/incendiary effects)
- Incendiary rifle grenades
- Vehicle-mounted flamethrowers (flame tanks or support vehicles)
- Incendiary bombs (air-dropped, or drones)
