Inaccuracies on BUK-M3 ADMS

Then why did they accept this?

Thats the ME, I’m not sure they’d accept the export variant, question is if ithat one is even active…

No. And even if i did find some things, they are worthless, due to us having a 9M317MA, and gaijin puts a red line between M/ME and MA

That is a ME, a SARH, worthless for in game reports.

On the report of the Aster, they also used the naval missile data, but in bouth cases I think is incorrect. As far as my (very basic) knowledge about radars goes, they tend to performe better over water (over sea). So the 15m should be more accurete for GRB.

“Naval missile” is not a thing for Aster

An Aster-30 carried by a ship is the same as an Aster-30 carried by a truck, and so is its seeker

Ships also carry Aster-15, a shorter ranged version, but it also shares the same terminal dart as Aster-30, so then again, same seeker

quite honestly they should just lower multipath across the board for modern SAMs

Correct. From the text

Spoiler

“the official magazine of the French Navy, the Aster Family is capable of hitting targets at an altitude of ~4 meters. Armada International [1.1] shows an Aster missile intercepting an Exocet at sea skimming altitude. Footage showing an Aster engagement of an Exocet corroborates successful interception [2.1]. Aviation Week and Space Technology [1.3] reports the Exocet’s sea skimming altitude is between 15-20 feet. As such, Aster 30 should be able to intercept targets flying within the multipath threshold”

I (incorrectly) assumed that there is a naval variant…
Regardless I also agree thet the multipath need another reduction for both SAMs and A2A.

Not without some major changes to how the game works first.

I mean if the Buk-M1 was able to engage at 15m, then surely the M3 would be able to engage such a small target same if not better.

Only the Buk-1 had a height enagement of 25m

Report manager doing report manager things …

First of all multipath is not some magic that has been beaten by technology but a major hurdle in ground communication to this day.

They way its implemented its silly i agree (you should be fine looking up) but absolutely not just lowered for no reason.

Would be nice to have all the map fixed without 60m trees

It should be set as per missile and radar system, not just all across.
