I’ve been playing a bit more Air RB than Ground RB in the past weeks as I’m trying to get the US TT fully unlocked.
What I noticed in the game is the significant difference between Ground RB chat messages and Air RB chat messages.
Ground is usually relaxed and helpful, with info on what kind of enemy vehicle or how many are on a cap point. There are occasionally some insults and racial slurs in the chat as well, but they are the exception.
I found that Air RB is the exact opposite.
The chat is more often than not used for racial slurs, political hatespeech and insults all around. There is rarely any helpful message shared. A lot of times you also get people who start a racial slur with a single letter that is then picked up by other people who contribute single letters only.
If I wanted to report all of that I’d not get any time gaming done and I don’t see a reason why I should fully disable chat when it is actually useful in Ground RB.
So far I’ve not seen any message from Gaijin that any of my reports had any consequences for anyone, so not sure if reporting people is actually doing anything at all.
In any case, I’m not the person who should be enforcing the ToS of Gaijin, but rather Gaijin themselves.
