They are wrong. It’s plainly written as smokless in the manual for MIM-72

Gaijin will come with “MIM-72 in-game is a representation of a variation with smoking motor, previous to variants with smokeless motors” as they do to excuse half-backed content specially in prototypes or vehicles that came across a lot modernizations or had long service/development proccess.

I’ve always been showing my impchap (9.0) stats lol. Deaths matching ground team failures, and 1kr for no planes spawning. That’s it.
It doesn’t have to be immortal as BMPT and braindead as LMUR top be called OP
The smokeless motor was the only change they did for that missile variant irl.
Now in game, both missile are exactly the same. Why have both at this point?
