If PZGR is going to stay this overloaded with HE filler, and this overpowered, It needs remodeled into a SAP round.
This is getting absolutely annoying. This garbage “oh look i barely clipped your tank now your entire crew is dead” is getting SO demoralizing. Especially considering no one else gets shells that can do this, hell even the BIG APHE rounds from the Americans, like the 105 APHE in the T95 and T29, perform worse than this round. Its just a no skill shell, for no skill German Mains. atleast with 75mm APHE we have to AIM a lil.
This garbage early war improvised AP round thrown together to handle KV-1s, by slapping a AP penetrator on the tip of a standard 88 HE round, should be counted as a SAP round, because that is LITERALLY what SAP is, HE rounds with AP penetrators put on the nose.
there was an APHE rework by Gaijin over a year ago that would have fixed the unbalanced damage of all APHE shells in the game
there was a vote for this fix and the playerbase decided against it
this one is on us, not on Gaijin

It literally isn’t tho. the APHE changes had nothing to do with the absolute bull that is the APHE over-pressure mechanic.
Stop using that as a excuse for blatantly overpowered Shells.
im not complaining about APHE overperfoming, its that the Tigers exclusively basically get a Nuke shell that can kill any tank they shoot at, with impunity. EVEN SUPER HEAVIES, i see Tiger 1s all the time nuking T95s and Tortoise’s.
153mm pen at 5.7? That’s basically trading some pen for filler, if anything it makes it harder to blast enemies considering the stock APHE with 12mm more pen already has a huge load enough to fry the crew of anything it pens. I’d say the only advantage is the ability to make short work of open top tds and annoying hellcats.
Thats the PROBLEM, the shell doesn’t even have to pen, i have been dying to them in Black Prince by them not even penetrating my MANTLET.
