That’s the only difference with Planes/Tanks (even if there is some weird things there aswell)
your whole experience of toptier is from playing 6.0-6.3 cruisers. Your entire naval experience is two dozen premiums (no battleships) and even then you barely play any of them that isnt from US.
But surely you are eligible to judge that a not yet introduced top tier battlecruisers are op.

Oh also. This, the successor to the Kongou-class, is the same BR. Both are at 7.0. Like I get you don’t wanna go higher for fear of including jets or whatever but in no world should a ship and the ship designed in every way to be better be the same BR.

Ahh, okay now I understand.
Well Imperial Japan didn’t use a prefix on their ships for either WWI or WWII, Same with Germany which in some publications & games have KMS Kerigsmarine Ship although they never carried one either.
The game used to have KMS before German vessels but upon one devblog for the German cruiser Nürnberg which had several comments calling it, all German ships had that dropped that same update.
Meanwhile even years later after so many comments, bug reports or just post made on forums calling for IJN to be dropped yet nothing.
Only the Chidori class torpedo boat Chidori & Hiburi/ Mikura class kaibōkan Shōnan (listed as Syonan in game) are the only ships in game without the prefix yet all other Imperial ships use the prefix as seen by Amagi here.
Interestingly there’s another incorrect prefix for japan as well but is more seen in WWI related materials & that follows a more European/British route that being the prefix HIJMS His Imperial Japanese Majesty’s Ship (inadvertently saw that yesterday in an A.W.M for one ship but all other pictures & writings of japanese ships didn’t carry a prefix & writing).
An it isn’t like the devs don’t change prefixes for other nations as mentioned already with KMS but Italy for quite a long time didn’t have RN (Royal Nave) before ships until one update changed that.
Still the only ships in the Japanese tree that should have prefixes are post war ships of the Japanese Maritime Self Defence Force, As seen by JDS Ayanami DD-103 Ayanami class destroyer or JDS Harukaze DD-101 Harukaze class destroyer although the devs seem lazy for some ships as seen by the DE’s (Destroyer Escorts) & LSSL (Landing Support Ship Large) not having prefixes before the ships name.

Personally I don’t really mind the prefixes. I think they look nice. It might be just because in most media I’ve seen (books, videos, etc.) the ships do have IJN in front of it, same with KMS.
Plus, it adds distinction between the Imperial Navy and the Self-Defense Navy, as just by the names (no prefixes) it would be hard to tell what goes where. I kind of think they should add KMS back just for continuity. Yes both the KMS and IJN prefix are technically not official but I think they are widely used enough for people to understand and recognize them.
And, given that most of the nations in the game have ship prefixes, I also sort of think they should have prefixes for the other ones (France, Russia/USSR) as well, for consistency, only if they are widely used/understood though.

…Where’s South Dakota 1920s class for USA? Even Colorado would be welcome at this point, as long as it has 16" guns with a decent reload…
Worth also noting that two out of the three “top tier” (as by the end of the next event) ships will be time locked because… event ships! Bravo Gaijin!

Japan at this point already has most of their competitive capitals ingame. But if this trend contiues, the response to the Colorado and Nelson being added is to give Japan the damn Yamato.
Seriously, these BB additions needs be planned out more. I dont know whats going on to have the Japans bluewater be the golden boy.

they won’t have a decent reload. they had a rate of fire of like 1.5 rounds per minute… so upwards of 40 seconds or so

So you’re okay with France getting the Rafale, but the British and US have to wait for years before getting the Typhoon and F/A-18?
And on another note, which nation consistently gets its vehicles nerfed (BR) because of other players whining? Obviously, it’s the small French community that Gaijin always listens to, and that’s why they nerf the entire tech trees of other nations, right? Oh, wait… 😶🌫️

Come on, there’s no issue when it’s the same Russian or US line-ups dominating everyone else at the same BR.
I wasn’t even referring to those specific nerfs. My main focus was on the F1C-200. I bought it when it was at 11.0, then in the next update it was bumped to 11.3 (often facing 12.3 in almost constant uptiers), and now it’s sitting at 12.0 with decompression, while its counterpart, the MiG-23, is only at 11.7. Too late, I had already spent money on it.
And it gets even worse. The VBCI-2 was at 9.3 when I purchased it. It was already underperforming at that BR, but then it got nerfed to 9.7.
And that’s not even mentioning the non-premium vehicles…
There is, and unless you’re living under a rock, everyone complains about them.
The F1C-200 has had its missiles buffed an incredible amount of times. Its no wonder it has been moved up.
If you want to speak about his missiles buff, don’t forget to speak about his RWR (4 sector instead of 360) or his Super 530F who his the only non-CW SARH missiles on his battles.
