They keep on insisting on putting ships in game with ahistorical prefixes yet somehow two ships are left out, If they can do it for those two ships then they can do it for all Imperial Japanese ships but their inconsistency is the weird part.

No I mean, what’s weird about adding the prefix? I’m not much of a boat guy.
Japan really now has 7 7.0 ships, while some nations only have 1-0 when they have multiple possible additions… I really should make a suggestion for the proposed retrofit for Gneisenau with the 15 inch guns. I think it can count as a suggestion with all of these paper ships being added.

@Stona_WT Where will the Amagi go in the Japanese Bluewater tech tree? After Mutsu? or will Mutsu move behind the other battleships and Amagi fit into the battlecruiser line?

Actually, IJN has not much with comissioned ships. Nagato, Yamato, Musashi, ends. Japan is the nation that needs non-comissioned ships. Actually, except GB and USA, every nation will eventually needs non-comissioned ships to fill the tree.

Might go behind the Fuso just because of the fact that it has a slot missing after it.
But this is a vedio game ,which need balance.Izmail has no way to defeat IJN Amagi.
But with good performance weaponry.

Remember that USSR Navy got significantly reduced by the Japanese at Tsushima
The modernisation of the USSR Fleet was mostly stopped and scrapped at the moment Germans entered war against Russia:
Sovetsky Soyuz-class battleships → designed as response to Bismarck-class, been cancelled
The only BB available at that time were old Pre WWI Imperatritsa Mariya-class
Therefore you can’t expect to recieve any type of Battle ships equivalent to Japanese or UK, or USA,…
The 2 only possible BB’s are UK Revenge-class or Italian Giulio Cesare, which both have to be introduced in their respective TT naval lines.

Now, speaking of BattleCruisers-class (which are indeed underclass in comparison to BB’s):
Borodino-class (same as Izmail BC ship in game) already is a class of ships that were never finished, and got scrapped before any introduction in the forces.
Kronshtadt class have been deemed too weak and been canceled before design process was finsished
Stalingrad class have been delayed, and even if the design started in 1944, the ship itself wasn’t buit until 1951, and was only armed with 305mm guns
then we have to watch out for Kirov Class which is a 1960 ship - out of competition.
RESULT:
USSR have to Cope,… as Japan had to cope with Jets for years, and as Germany is coping right now for a Western Toptier Jet design.

Seriously? Are naval development team IJN fanboys or something? Not only is it another 7.0 battleship but its armed with the best guns in the game and ridiculously fast reload only achievable in the most optimistic testing conditions.
Meanwhile the US players are having to fight tooth and nail to just lower the standard reloads by 5 seconds. Which gets constantly denied by Gaijin.
Britain barely has any of their 15" armed roster those that do still have gimped dispersion.
And everyone else is still stuck with their ww1 dreadnoughts.
Seriously these naval additions just get more and more bizarre.

Seems weird to include what amounts to a paper ship. Not completed, but we can’t have other vehicles that were further along. And add to that it’s not really needed for the lineup it’s filling. Feels weird that this is added when plenty of things could have been brought in. Plus if we can have this, then what about other planned but not finished designs? Seems like a double standard.

Every laid down ship can be added, it is not news, as we have already around 10 such ships in game.

Eh, well did not know that, now I do. Still weird to me but guess if that’s how they’re gonna do it then there it is. Either way still seems kinda meh. But hey, new boat so theirs that. Won’t likely play it but still cool to see.
Fantasy vehicles such as this and Izmail - which all seem way OP for some bizarre reason - really kill my enthusiasm. They undermine what I enjoy about WT.
