Russia already has paper ships in game to be any competable to rest of the ww2 navys. Japan gonna get 460 mm on yamato gonna cry why russia gets no 460 mm too?
🥖🥖 French could get Richelieu-class battleship which gonna even be over 7.0 with its exelent armour and unique quadruple turrets.
And 🍕🍕Italy could get some Littorio-class battleship
I belive after IJN Amagi japan wont be getting more capable ships until other nations gets their top battleship. Because IJN Yamato is just way to big of a gap compare to everything in the game.
We should get bigger maps for things like Yamato tho.
Edit after release @ForumModerators :
Someone seems to have forgot a 0 in the displacement. This aint destroyer😂😂😂😂
I’d expect them to add it, but it’s not going to be good.
It ended up after Ise… which makes absolutely zero sense.
Amagi should be after Kongo as both are Battlecruisers, Mutsu should have been added after Fuso if added at all, really they should have held off and added Tosa instead later on after Fuso and then waited until Nelson’s, NoCals, Sodak (1939) to add the Nagato refits.
I kind of mentioned this in passing in the update post itself, so I thought I’d reiterate that thought here:
I don’t really understand why they decided to make the ship that never got completed when the IJN got a massive roster of existing ships they could choose from? Takao-class? Nagato herself? All the pre-war dreadnoughts? Even if I won’t advocate for the last one because it’s not easy to balance, which brings me to the oft-repeated point: please look into plane BRs for Naval so we can decompress from 7.0. Not only will this make room for more kinds of ship that would be viable (all those predreadnaughts, battlecruiser, etc.) without it being clapped by battleships three decades ahead.
Lastly, as a note on game balance, as of this moment (thanks in part because of that aforementioned compression), Japan has six 7.0 ships; not including event vehicles. Comparing it to the other nations, we see:
- US: 4
- Germany: 4
- Russia: 4
- Great Britain: 1
- Italy: 1
- France: 0
So while I appreciate Gaijin making Japan appropriately a major nation in Naval, the disparity is quite obvious. So please consider a fairer distribution of vehicle releases.
