I remember when they even acknowledged it as an issue shortly after the Dev Server of that update and they STILL haven’t done a thing about it after all this time…
That takes effort. It’s easier to just copy/paste a bunch of Leopards, and then sort of gesture at them and go “see, y’all have top tier viable vehicles aplenty, no need to work on the Leclerc for a while. Now shut up and play the game and spend money plz”.
As far as I understand player hasn’t provided any sources of the use of LWS on Leclercs, just the fact that Galix system can include it (though it’s hard to tell since sources aren’t visible in reports).

Leclercs never had LWS
The closest thing they got was the laser sensors for the training equipment.
Saying that Leclercs should have LWS because a LWS can be added to the GALIX system is pure cope
Standard Leclercs should not have LWS you are correct.
However Leclerc S2 AZUR P1 (Vehicle we have in the game) has been seen with a laser warning sensor
