I got 2 7 kill games in a Mig 23ML (Both times I had to go back to airfield to rearm) got the final kill both games. Its rare since the R-60’s are easily flared but if you manage an ambush with them they are tough to beat

The Ayit.
At 9.3 with plenty of countermeasures, 4 18G missiles (2 of which being 9Ds), a digital rwr, and great flight performance to boot, I consider the Ayit to be the most under-tiered jet ingame.
P.S.
The RWR will also be buffed soon to the AN/ALR-45F(V), which to my knowledge is a successor to the RWR found in the F-14A, so now the Ayit will get even more capable lol.

Btw, what’s the difference between the Aim-9Ds and Shafirs?
The Shafirs are slower, have far less range, pull worse (outside of ultra close range on account of an uncaged seeker), and have a terrible seeker.
Still superior to a 9B though.
Mirage 2000-5Ei/5F, they are easy ace machines and are commonly underestimated by opponents, I frequently ace in my own and have fun every time I play it

If you told me I had to try and get an ace in my very next match, I’d probably pick a Spitfire. Outside of some Japanese / Italian things, there’s very little to fear in a 1v1. Problem is just avoiding getting 2nd / 3rd partied. Mark IX is great, but if you don’t care where you get it, and don’t mind being seal clubby, Mk I / Mk II probably have reasonable odds.
If you told me I had an unlimited amount of games to get the ace, I’d probably just pick something like F-15I, climb to space on low fuel at the start of each match and spam AMRAAMs. Throw enough s*** at the wall and eventually enough will stick ahhh tactic lol.
I wish there was a stat somewhere that said what aircraft we had the most ace games with.

For me its harder to get high multiple kill games in a prop than a higher tier jet with radar and IR missiles…thats why Im starting to like props again.
The two planes I do best in, Zero, and the Me109 g2 trop, when I fly those I feel like the plane is going to do exactly what I want it to do if I keep it in its speed parameters.

I just got the Soviet Prem Hurricane, man does that thing have some armament! That being said, it is very slow because of the additional weight.

I need to get better at notching fox 3s at altitude, Im not bad at it near the ground, but I would like to fight my F15C at a higher altiude, I think thats where a ton of kills are.
LOL, I havent flown my Mig21SMT yet since it got moved down to 10.3…yes those R60s are so quick, and really good at sniping. They are on you fast.
Thats a great plane at its BR you dont hear people talking about a lot…Im researching it now, cant wait to get it. I love my CLmk6, but to be honest, Id rather be flying the Ayit at that BR…Nice mate

There is some challenge or achievement, I do not know which one it is…but its Terror of the Sky, or something similar to that,…that would be one Im %75 of the way there, but when I get that I will be giving myself a pat on the back.
I seem to like slow, maneuverable planes that are not conducive to a million airkills, and so its like a chess game to me, and I like to win. I will a lot of times, when in props, see nobody is going to go after the bomber flying in outerspace, so I pass up a lot of kills so we can win and not spend the battle chasing after some bomber pilot who thinks its funny to run off the map.
Im kind of more into wins right now, I got my Ace Tag about 8 months ago and that was always a goal…since then, Ive really been screwing off flying the planes I always skipped because they werent great, just to have fun with everything Ive accumulated.

Aim-9Ds have vastly superior range, Shafrir 2s maneuver better in certain cases due to lower energy (tighter turn circle).

Ive noticed at that BR with the Aim 9Ds say for instance, its nice to fire at right about their optimum range, to give them a little time to maneuver, they are not the tightest turning missiles, but if you give them a little time to adjust, kind of like Aim 9es, they aren’t going to pull a lot of Gs, just in that certain range, they will pull in…kind of like your gun convergence huh?

Mate, all those F5s are so good. I remember when I got my F5 in the US research tree…I was like, wow, this is my first good US jet! I ruined my player card with Phantoms trying to get to the F16s and F15s. They do so many things so well as long as you keep up the speed.
Now I have about every US plane and come to find out when I started going back, the Sabres are really hot as well…Those F5s, I also have the Japanese “Thai Fighter”, are a plane where amid all the missiles I seek to engage with those fire cannons, some of the best cannon in the game! NICE

I happen to do very well in Mirages, I like delta wings and Im not bad in my Mig21 family either…the Mirages are some very good planes in WT and you dont see many people talking about them.
Nice MiikaLaakso! The Mirage 2000C is one plane I have I forget about, it is a plane I have gotten 4 airkills in quite a few times, but I can never break 5…Last night in my Me109 G2trop I got 4 and 3 assists…LOL, at that BR people are firing on a plane you set on fire, that really irks me!
