- Rebalance SP costs, increasing costs for advanced weaponry, and keeping lower costs for ‘dumb’ weaponry like bombs/direct fire rockets. (Skilled players can still pull kills of with these, but SPAA get a much higher chance of killing them.
- Rebalance how SP is earned, the old 1 cap in light vehicle = enough SP to spawn CAS needs to go.
- Better rewards for killing air vehicles with SPAA, first spawn SPAA should be rewarded, and if multiple SPAA are spawned, there should be a good incentive to ‘fight’ over who gets a kill
- Remove air spawns for planes, move helipads back. A helicopter with 10km missiles should not be able to hover over their pad to launch missiles and then immediately land to rearm. Make them have to come to the fight like everyone else. (For lower BRs, can keep helipads close since they range only 3km for their ATGMs)

Also the ability to rearm vehicles such as the Type 93 before all missiles have been fired.
Right now you have to fire all 8 missiles, then rearm at a cap zone, which takes forever and then spend just as much time actually reloading the launcher.

The best way to re-balance CAS in current GB is to create separate mode (TO) for tankers.
People who would like to play just tanks would leave current GB thus creating balance as only people left are ones who want combined mode and are ok with the ‘unbalance’.
Some people on this forum aren’t able to understand that some people want to play tanks only which, given the size of Ground branch, is a perfectly valid wish.
By this logic they could remove Air modes and send anyone who’s objecting to World of Warplanes.
I’ve not played Ground a lot for a while, and just for the BP played it more now recently. But what I can really say from my recent experience (RB only), is that CAS wasn’t that much of a game-breaking issue as apparently still a lot of people here feel.
Yes, I’ve also been killed by planes, but not too frequently.
On the other hand I played AA quite a few times, and got many kills with unguided SPAAG’s and SAM’s. I was actually more struggling with too few aircraft in my matches than too many…
I also flew out in CAS aircraft a few time, but also there I think I was killed more by stuff on the ground than I managed to kill someone with m aircraft (props and unguided SPAAG’s era only).
Seriously, CAS is just part of ground battle since the military got wings, and is a constant in 20st and 21st century warfare.
however pilots do not complain and do not want to remove tanks from battles, unlike tankers. I repeat again, you want tanks without aviation - go to the neighbouring game (wot), nobody keeps you here

No one wants it removed, people just want new gamemode ;). For people that just like how it is today nothing will change (maybe less free frags).

And the video posted a bit above shows a prime example of a match where first no SPAA was spawned at all, and then later when some decided to spawn, were only marginally successful.
If anything, the vid showed also how the system can be abused by bringing a low BR tank to cap to gain access to aircraft, but also this isn’t really the core problem here: No matter how one got an aircraft in the air, once in the air it can be countered - and that’s just what did not happen here…
