If you could, how would you re-balance CAS in Ground Battles?

If you decise to ignore RWR screaming bloody murder at you, certainly.

Tanks dont have any such warning system so they just blow up and what warning system they have do nothing for most top tier munitions.

If spaa are so effective, can you tell us which spaa below rank 8, you have a postive air-kill-to-death ratio?

I wouldn’t know since I don’t look at my k/d, probably would be the PGZ04A, PGZ09 or WZ305 if I were to guess

It’s a bit hypocritical of you to slag on players for not embracing spaa to counter CAS when you can’t do it yourself.

Your stats say otherwise. LOL

You have very few ground vehicles with substantial air kills. Most of your air-kills by ground units are via higher ranked ones with missiles.

When it comes to using spaa guns, you - along with most players - struggle to kill CAS.

And that’s because CAS has an advantage over all ground vehicles in ranks where there are no guided missiles.

tbh the only real issue that isn’t Not Understanding the Intended Design of the Game is that plane kills in ARB aren’t really… worth in in terms of individual rewards.

Like if I’m up in a plane that can do air-to-air anyways I’ll shoot down enemy CAS if I get the chance since it’s fun to do and good for Not Losing, and I did actually bother learning the basics of ww2 SPAA (it’s like 75% positioning incidentally you need to put yourself where the planes are going instead of trying to land shots on something flying away from you several KM away; signalling your position to every enemy tank and any other enemy planes in the process); but you get so little RP and SL from doing it that I’m not surprised the average player just doesn’t bother attacking anything other than ground targets.

IMO Ground-to-Air and Air-to-Air kills should pay out more than Ground-to-Ground and Air-to-Ground; to reflect both the increased SP cost and disproportionately large Potential Round Impact of unimpeded CAS; and the higher difficulty of taking out planes in the case of Ground-to-Air.

Yep agreed, especially as playing either SPAA or CAP can often result in no reward at all because its dependent on an enemy spawning. Ive had matches flying the Sea Harrier in CAP where ive gotten 3-4 kills and others where I got nothing because nothing spawned

Imo, it would make more sense if ground to air and air to air kills gave lesser rewards, as the skill required for each (especially air to air) is basically non-existent.
