Pantsir might not be as good as the the very top tier SPAAs, but it is still miles better than any other below and even a few of the top tier ones (like the Elde, Spyder and Chinas one (i cant recall its name))
So if they were to decompress ground fully to match air and so the max BR was 14.3. Whilst IRIS-T SLM, BUK, etc etc would be 14.3. Pantsir would still be like 13.7 ish and everything else like the ADATS would be way down around 12.0/12.3.
As it stands, it should be 12.3 and not 12.0
(though with the current state of LDIRCM, Multipathing and general issues with engaging helis with radar based weapons, there is an argument to be made that the Pantsir is more effective vs helis than anything else in game currently being SACLOS)
having the ability to spawn in a plane that can just get you 5 kills in one run for what? 2-3 kills?
hell, why even need kills when you can just press “V” and scout people all game
Hoverbois having a magical “fuck you” shield for all IR missiles is totally fair and balanced while they have 8-16x F&F missiles with 8km track lock range

but should a person go out of their way to kill the 2-3 enemy aircraft that are most likely already on their airfield and ready to fly?
What’s stopping them from just spawncamping me with their planes as I spawn a plane
Even the best CAS players will tell you that CAS at top tier is not fair to fight
That is not a problem for them as being able to kill a player that they can’t fight in a tank while he can’t do anything about it is what they call „fair”

If i only played bombers (Rookie mistake from ages ago i know that)
But if i only played those type of planes,of course i would be having insanely low stats since the average kill ratio for a bomber its like 0.10

CAS overall if implemented right its not OP
Make bombs and FaF missile more expensive to get instead of getting a full ah loadout with 100 points
Shove an interceptor in your lineup (Gaijin has to do with for example like they do in the test server when they give “free” vehicles to use)
So people who dont play air have a way to counter air properly
Shove those helipads and airfield 80 km from each other and from the battlefield making impossibile to shoot and rearm before the missile even hit people
Those are starters,easier to implement an interceptor in the lineup for free,regarding maps,that might take a while
the only way to make air defense more effective, is to let them spawn far from the tank battle, just like irl, air defense are behinde position not by 1 or 2 km, but by 10 or more. let the spaa spawn in the heli spawn and everything change
