If you could, how would you re-balance CAS in Ground Battles?

None stated tanks are the solution. Statment was that those problems are tank only problems which they are not. Those are game wide problems. So with or without CAS those problems exist.

Tank only is solution for games without CAS.

CAS can spawncamp less than ground vehicles can due to spawn protection and the nature of being in a high-speed aircraft

Thats is absolutely not true. CAS has much easier time spawncamping than ground vehicles due to ability of attac from angle ground vehicles cannot defend.

it only works against low and close flying aircraft, and it does nothing at higher tiers

they could redesign maps. war thunder is well known for some very bad map design

high tiers it’s irrelevant as radar guided SPAA is incredibly strong, and mostly still faces dumb ordnance

hardly anyone spawncamps as cas unless the game is already driven to a point of ground spawncamping, cas is either revenge cas(dumb) or happening in the active battle zone(objectives)

So if ground is spawncamping and CAS is spawncamping too (to a lesser extent you say) how is CAS solution for spawncamping???

CAS is spawncamping whenever they can regardless to ground forces because its easier to find targets in hunderd square meters than 2 square kilometers.

cas is just as likely to spawncamp as any ground vehicle is, except cas is the only one putting their team at a disadvantage when doing it. they don’t have infinite munitions

Why? If one can bomb 3 vehicles in one pass because those are bunched together I wouldn’t call it disatvantage.

I strafe lots of SPAA/light vehicles near spawn when they focus on incoming striker/bomber. And if another plane is in play those have no chance.

Because the rewards are so horribly skewed

cause spawn protection, where tanks can just sit, watch and wait cas aircraft have to make multiple passes

One earns money. The other doesn’t.

Spawn protection which lasts 10 secs while plane just repositions for second pass.

vs tank that just sits and watches that you can’t see or hear.

And do what after 10 seconds?

Result is the same. Both can spawn camp air and ground. Air have it easier in terms of 3D space and bigger ordnance, while ground have it easier for ambush.

Unless its completely open map one can hide from ground vehicles which is haredr thing to do from planes.

you dont play high tier, how can you say SPAA against aircraft is fun to play
