I would say you would only be able to spawn as certain types of aircraft based on how many points you’ve captured. For example you wouldn’t be able to spawn as an aircraft able to wipe out a whole group of tanks unless you’ve managed to capture 3 capture points. The more powerful aircraft, the more you need to play the actual ground battle.
the discussion isnt about me, its about balancing.
CAS isnt exclusive to low tier, and its a problem at top tier.
saying “CAS is not a problem” is simply a lie, whether or not youre only talking about low tier.

Is unbalanced in all of them
Maybe ultra low tier/3.0 and below is balanced given you have good aa, 12.7mm machine guns or better across the Board and you dont have big bombs that can ruin an entire team (looking at you pe8)

i want to be civil, but logical arguments have no effect here, and any discussion about a tank-only gamemode is derailed by spam, which gives gaijin a plausible reason to ignore and deny everything.
anyway, whoever supports tank-only can spread the word and actively lobby for it, and whoever doesnt support it, i am curious to hear their opinion on it

No faking way… ppl who are competen at SPA alreaedy murder sky up to anything at BR 12.7. So where do we have this problem then?
edit- I think biggest problem is ppl are so frustrated of shitty matched that they dont spawn AA in a first palce. I do that often too. Out of 2countries i play majorly ive havent really faced problem up to BR I stated above. Its mostly fault of map, not of SPA itself. Or game lost anyway cause of teammates being such apes really

You don’t play lower tiers often?
Once you hit ~ BR 3.7 where planes like the p51 carry 500+ lb bombs, spaa have problems.
Many of the ww2 era spaa are open-topped and have no radar to help find and kill the CAS. They are quite vulnerable and really don’t stand much of a chance - especially when there are multiple CAS up at once, and the tracers just announce to everyone where they are sitting.

having to be competent at SPAA is already an issue in the first place.
but even if you were right, SPAA is still underpowered compared to CAS, and never counters it entirely
talking about tank-only is the only way to spread awareness, so what can i do

that was written and then updated when the only viable top tier SPAA was the Pantsir and when KH-38MTs were just… unocntested nightmares. I last updated it more than a year ago now. Yes, its now out of date in that regard, as the new top tier SPAA specifically mentioned have arrived to most nations (though some still dont have the needed SPAA and others have them but they are in a buggy state)

CAS vs SPAA balance issues exist at every BR, not just top tier. I think there are some BRs where SPAA have the advantage and others where CAS does, but its not universal for all nations. So there are still issues to be resolved even at lower BRs.
