Losing as in losing the objective. In the match. To the victor the spoils. Whole point of everything. in Warfare, You don’t get to chill in the territory you just lost. Your sacrifice and efforts do not receive rewards if you’d lost the entire objective.

Yeah. A video game where no one cares about the actual point of the entire match. A video game that prides itself on realism except when it doesn’t. A video game where it promotes self-absorbed tactics that disregard the entire concept and premise of the game.
Because losing is often entirely out of my control, and unless you are an incredibly good player, you won’t be able to win a match by yourself.
I do not want to lose rewards because myself/my team wasn’t as good as the enemy team. I don’t want to lose rewards because the last player AF camped when I already have 5 kills. And I don’t want to waste 25 minutes of my own time because of sub-par teammates, or vastly superior (or scummy) enemies.
As AUSChalkWarrior said, this would make me quit War Thunder.

Allegedly bad players is not and has never been toxic.
Responding negatively to what one thinks are bad players is a toxic behavior.
I agree it would suck. It would be extremely frustrating when you come across a shit team. But that’s kind of the point. It would make every player focus a lot more on winning the match. Right now you are used to everyone just kind of doing their own thing and therefore a lot less effort is put into winning.
And ultimately if it boils down to it this is a team-based game. This is supposed to be about playing the objective. Life’s not fair. It doesn’t matter how much effort you put into something if you lose. You lose, you don’t get rewarded. Trying to constantly appease everyone and make it so everyone gets rewarded for what they do to the point of most players don’t really care if they win or lose the match has taken the toxicity to the exact opposite end of the spectrum and it needs to be addressed somehow.
some players just dont have the potential to be better and their skill peaks at the bottom. how are you going to make their actions count more? you just cant
This is a good idea if the goal is to kill the game.
50% of gameplay = no reward. Then the 50% of wins would need to payout double or triple what it does now.
Also, meta vehicles become mandatory, low performance nations might as well just be deleted from the game.
Then why add it? Videogames are supposed to provide some form of enjoyment, and you’re suggestion just takes it away.
I should not have a 50/50 chance of earning nothing for something mostly out of my control. I also don’t want the increased toxicity that comes with it.
Someone will win either way, this will just make losses worse.

People run to their favorite spot and just camp. Suicide bombing, spawn camping, hell, you know how many times I’ve had a teammate ran me from behind pushing me out from cover so I get shot and they can secure the kill during their reload?
So basically you wish to go back to the way WT was before the player base collectively lost their marbles and review bombed Gaijin. Not that I particularly disagree, but good luck with the project. :)

I had a match not that long ago. Sure thing our team was going to loose. They had played the objective well and had CAS on overwatch. But I jumped into CAP and wiped out their air cover. Which resulted in half their team quitting. We counter attacked and won.
It was a close match, half of the players shouldn’t walk away with nothing just because they lost.
Also, with how poor the balance is, which ever team had meta tanks would win. If you had Sweden/Germany on the other team, might as well J out, as you aren’t getting any rewards.
It would be horrible for gameplay and people simply wouldn’t play.
Increase the reward for capping objectives, sure, that would help. But punishing people for simply not winning, is just stupid.

Ah yes, I see what you mean now, and I have thought of that in the past as well. ALL players get paid for their actions in game, SL’s & RP(even some crp here & there) and the SL “bonus” for winning or losing is on top of that . . . gotcha

I do not see it happening, but I do see where you are coming from. Making actually playing the game’s objectives to win should be a primary objective for each player, but . . . . it’s just not like that overall and not likely to change.
