Our air game mode. Basically the same sense its introduction has caused a lot of bad blood to certain types of vehicles. Either forcing every match into a TDM or An A.I. hunting simulator to win, this ends up with people being disliking one or the other usually.
So, here’s the idea on making all of these planes work together. We’ll have role specific tickets!
These will be 3 different ticket bars. 1 for fighters, 1 for bombers, and 1 for attackers.
The Fighters bar will generally stay the same, hunting players and draining their tickets that way. This will also be effected by a.i. planes they take down.
The Attackers bar will drain from ground based units, along with fortifications and armored columns.
The Bombers bar will drain tickets by bombing their bases and airfield respectively.
This does not keep any plane type from destroying another types tickets.
This does however put limits on the amount of tickets a specific vehicle can destroy at a single time and keeps the match from ending from 1 specific group.
Lets say the fighters use napalm on a bombers base and destroys it. The tickets drained from the bombers ticket pool will be less than if a bomber destroys the base. (Lets say a ratio of 1:3)
This also doesn’t effect the rewards, just the time frame on winning or losing the match.
So, Now every aircraft type has a way to effect the game while also not outright winning it by themselves. This will hopefully lead to better balancing to specific aircraft and leave a way for newer planes to get introduced.
(This could also lead to certain game winning mechanics to get reintroduced such as the airfield being bombed. Now instead of outright winning the match, It’ll just drain the bombers ticket pool significantly.)
