IAF Su-30MKI - Missile bus with lot's of different weapons

Britain has designed and sold bespoke AFVs and Aircraft for India and continues to sell weapons and arms to India to into the future.

Some examples:
Vampire
Hunter
Canberra
Gnat/Ajeet
Jaguar IS
Jaguar IM
Jaguar IB
Sea Harrier FRS 51
Sea Harrier T Mk.60
Vickers Mk.1/Vijayanta
Abbot
Centurion Mk.5 & Mk.7
Hawk

and that’s just off the top of my head without going to far pre-independence. India has been by far one of the largest single military customers for the UK, ignoring the US.

Exporting is not the same as being a Military Partner. Israel and India are Military Partners that have actively worked to defend one another.

India is a sub of Britain that’s been confirmed for more than a dozen times

It is not necessarily permanent and hasn’t been handed out.

Tell me, are you okay with Singapore being announced for China? The majority of the community isn’t, including myself.

I don’t think he is wrong about India being a sub tree

The Jordanian Desert Warrior follows the example of many export vehicles like the SK105 and Stingray

It is permanent, get off your high horse of copium please

It wasn’t an announcement, it was to gauge public interest learn the difference

I’m not even saying the Indian Flankers or Fulcrums or even Rafales can’t be added to UK for political reasons or anything like that, I just think neither Britain nor India will benefit from this. Britain still has a huge amount of British vehicles lacking, and India will just not have the room to be integrated in the British tree in a proper way. And look how it’s going now, all Indian jets are premium or event

The KF41 wasn’t added to Germany because it is specifically exported, as stated by Gaijin. The Stingray was briefly trialed alongside the US XM8, which is why America received it. As for the SK105, that was a massive piece of drama that no one agrees on, which is why Gaijin gave it to both sides.

I’m vocalizing my distaste for something that doesn’t make sense in-game and is very unhealthy.

I quote, “Thailand for Japan, Singapore for China”.

That sounds pretty damn serious to me. Why did they mass sensor hundreds of comments and several posts if they were “Guaging interest”?

Officail Gaijin blog.

If you dont belive that, it is up to you

Well BvvD did tease about how Britain will be varied by having Commonwealth Hornets, Rafale’s and Su-30’s, with the last update have brought the Hornets I’d expect the Indian’s won’t be to far behind lol

It was confirmed over 10 times that India is a sub TT. It will stay there.

Getting tired repeating this tbh

You can say it however many times you want. I disagree with the decision based on the fundamental health and historical problems it will cause.

You do realise that war thunder players have a low literacy rate right ?

Israel…

Not sure that works chief.
It should be in Russia before Israel.

I’ll explain my logic.

When it comes to sub-trees, there are often multiple trees that share claims on them. Think Switzerland, Singapore, and India. When a Sub-Tree can be placed in multiple locations like this, I believe it is best to look at where these vehicles would be healthiest while keeping historical ties in mind.

For India, I believe Israel is a good fit for several reasons.

Firstly, India was one of the first countries to recognize Israel’s existence.

Secondly, during the Indo-Pakistani wars, Israel played a major part by supporting India with Weapons, Ammunition, and Intelligence. Since then, Israel and India have regularly shared military equipment with one another and participated in combined military exercises.

Thirdly, significant amounts of Indian additions would rely on Israeli-made equipment such as Pythons, Derby ARH, SPICE bombs, and more.

Fourthly, India would be a combined NATO/Soviet Sub-Tree and would easily fit within Israel due to Israel also being a NATO/Soviet tech tree.

Due to these reasons, I believe India going to Israel would be the healthiest option available out of all possible sub-tree locations. Britain should not receive modern Russian Aircraft, and Russia should not receive modern NATO aircraft. Israel is a tech tree where this would not be out of the norm and would historically make sense for their lineup.

I don’t see it personally they use nothing Israeli, excluding some ordinance and some avionics upgrades.
To me France has more of a claim at least India used/uses French airframes

But the ship has sailed India should have been it’s own tech tree but Gaijin didn’t want to wait.

One key example is Indian drones. Israel utilized them a decent bit.

Nations, allegedly, are only allowed to have two sub-trees. Due to India and Israel sharing themes when it comes to how they would be structured, I think the two would be best put together. Especially for the matchmaker.

Maybe but as I said it’s too late now.

I also would be amazed if Gaijin gave the British tree all of the best airframes.

They will be behind a paywall or event vehicles.

Yeah I mean we already have an Indian aircraft per year now so I’m already expecting a Rafale Q3-4 2026

Airframe from Irkut
Radar from JSC
Weapon are MBDA, DRDO, Vympel, and only later, Rafael.
And even the so-called Israeli parts is not even fully Israeli, half of it are damn French. So by that logic of yours it should definitely go to France. ONE rafale is not good enough top tier like US with F-15E and Hornet or Britain with Typhoon and Hornet.
