IAF Su-30MKI - Missile bus with lot's of different weapons

upgrading your systems on the plane doesn’t mean you codeveloped the plane

Which is why Russia is an option. It’s their airframe and many of their weapons. Similarly, Israel has a claim because it influences significant technology within the airframe.

I personally believe it should be within Israel because it would be healthier for the game.

btw early su30mki even used L-150 iirc.

what tech tho ? i would say radar is the most important tech for now. (we dont have ecm in game). hmd is a very small part.

Cambridge disagrees with your definition of “Development”. Development doesn’t end when the airframe is put into production. Upgrades are Developments.

The Indian Su-30 is codeveloped with Israeli weapon systems.

For example, the Indian Su-30 would likely get SPICE ordinance and a bunch of Israeli guided weapons for CAS on top of Pythons, Derby ARH missiles, among others.

adding Radio to plane doesn’t me you developed the plane

You developed a radio

The hardpoints are all compatible to Israeli weapon systems. That has to be built in.

If the Su-30 is compatible with SPICE, which as far as I know is, that was built into the airframe.

iirc derby was only tested on the su30mki , they still primarily use r77 (and recently ordered r77-1 in early 2025).

Su30mki mostly use Israeli air to ground munitions

u can say the same for asraams so it should go back to uk tt ?

Sure, it was tested, but it’s actively compatible with SPICE ordinance, which I personally prefer to stay out of Russia. God forbid the last thing we need is Russia getting even more Insane CAS options. Especially since the IAF Su-30 can use Israel’s long-range CAS weapons too.

The difference is that the UK doesn’t have a good foothold compared to Israel, which is a Military Partner of India. It’s lazy to put India is Britain because “British Raj”. Personally, I’d find it kind of offensive if South Korea were put into Japan for the simple reason of “Japanese Colony”, so how is India different?

India is already a sub tt of UK

It can’t be. Britain has Jordan and South Africa. Nations are only allowed 2 as per Gaijin’s rules. A single Squadron Brishma does not count as a “Sub-Tree”. Hence why a single Premium Brazilian AMX inside Italy isn’t a Sub-Tree and neither is the single Polish Leopard in Germany.

true but for anti ships/ long range surface to land operations they use brahamos which is a joint project between india and russia. it was also used a lot in the recent conflict.

Israel isn’t shy to use Russian equipment in the past, which is why it would still be okay. It’s not outside what Israel currently offers. For Britain, it massively does.

u could also argue that uk is in need of a proper cas.

Uk does not have a Jordan sub TT.

They have other domestic options.

Smin has been wrong in the past and if Gaijin breaks their rule, that’s not my fault.

A Jordanian vehicle was introduced into Britain as a proper Tech Tree addition. If that isn’t the start of a Sub-Tree, I don’t know what is.

No other country has a single premium/event/squadron vehicle considered a sub-tree.

There is a massive reason why drama occurred when the Brishma was added to Britain.
